Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019)

Okay so the "Rose Tico was sidelined and it's wrong!" people are officially the whiniest b*tchiest star wars fans. Worse than any whining about Rey. Every article talking about the movie seems to cry about this and every day I see new news articles completely dedicated to it.

Here is the thing: No, she had 10 minutes of screen time in TLJ. She is not a main character. She never was. She is not a good character. If she was sidelined because of fan complaints then good. They should be catering to what fans want not critics and sjw's.

Honestly, I think there's potential there. If they got someone that actually knew how to write a decent Star Wars script and had them write her a miniseries, I'd watch it. She's a good concept, just horribly executed.

They exist, the director of Crazy Rich Asians is urging Disney+ for a show. Everyday I see new articles popping up, the other day Forbes was among them. The latest I just saw is the writer defending their decisions:

This seems like just a horrible horrible idea though. People dislike the character a lot. A small minority seems to like her cuz she's a minority. And for all the people saying this film caved to the complaining fans...giving Rose a mini series will be caving to another set of fans. Except not in a good way because it wouldn't be a positive change giving the overwhelmingly negative reaction to her character.

The Star Wars Universe is full of people similar to Rose(lost a loved one to the first order). So if that is where you see the potential for good story telling I'd say just create a new character that isn't so disliked.

Oh and I'm gonna point out she got more screen time than Boba Fett, so people need to stfu about her screen time.

By that logic you want a Jar Jar Binks tv show too. And u want some Holdo prequel I guess.

And you might think Boba sucks, but a lot of people don't. He had less screen time and became more iconic than Rose.

I think They should be more concerned with getting Star Wars back on track than fixing Rose.

I almost am tempted to say give Rose a show so it can fail and I can see the meltdowns, but I don't want to add anymore shitty things to this franchise.

Kylo’s turn from evil maniacal Sith to goody to shoe was too damn fast. Goddam! my contemplation on what to eat for dinner have taken far longer than that.

Palpatine’s lighting against the rebels was pretty sick, yet JJ made it so retarted. If the lighting was powerful enough to hit the rebels ships, all the ships electronics should have been destroy, not just disable.

Palpatine’s lighting was so wide spread against the rebels, yet against Rey, it was just a small lighting streak? Stupid.

Palpatine’s plans of having Rey kill him so he could posses her was stupid, even more stupid when he said yes, now I’ll just change my plans and absorbs your energies and make myself young.

Not a bad movie, but not a good movie either. Just a few wasted hrs and money if you don’t care about either ones.

I'm not even gonna use spoilers: the fleet of planet killers was gay and like a 13 yr. old wrote it.
