I never had an emotional need for this movie's success, nor it's failure (like you obviously do). in fact I think TLJ was pretty weak cinema and overall quite forgettable like everything after Ep1. my opinions regarding this are governed by my taste in quality cinema; not obvious anger addiction, mysoginy, and a need for peer validation. BTW, were you ever a SW fan? don't remember seeing you in the SW forum ever. When did it become so super-important to you?

There was some sort of preexisting natural connection between them, and Snoke just harnessed it a bit... That's why Rey and Kylo were still able to 'connect' that last time at the end of TLJ, after Snoke was already long dead.
And that natural force connection between them
