Zero surprise here

Yeah Im sure critics are review bombing you dumb ass.

FYI even audiences cant do that anymore with RTs new rules.

Just accept the prequels are better and youve made an ass outta yourself as per usual.

Jeremy Jahns nuked this movie. Saying it's the worst of the 9 film saga and Mary Sue is massively overpowered.

and Mary Sue is massively overpowered.

She pretty much ends up being the most powerful Jedi ever, according to the leaks and what some people who saw it said.

Spoiler:
She gets powered up by the spirit of every Jedi ever to combat Sidious, who is "all Sith".
Not that she needed a power up considering she can
Spoiler:
heal and shoot lightning without ever learning to in IX
.

So Palps is brought back to make a woman look strong because...? I don’t mind a female Jedi, I looked forward to it but the Mary Sueness of it is really off putting. Vader sacrifice is meaningless now.

Palpatine was brought back because Rian Johnson killed off the main villain in the second movie, and Kylo Ren doesn't work as the big bad because he's a dipshit. And yes, Vader and Luke are irrelevant now. Literally nothing they did mattered. Rey is the one who will defeat the Emperor and rebuild the Jedi, and Disney will wonder why long-time fans hate the sequel trilogy.

I think in one of the trailers is heavily implied that Palps was Snoke or something but if Rian hadn’t completely messed up TLJ then yeah Snoke would probably be in this too and probably no Palps.

It's not implied, it's straight up said. And he has

Spoiler:
Snoke clones in vats
in the movie. But that's a retcon obviously.

Welp. The ending's on youtube.

Spoiler:
Palpatine says he's all Sith and blasts her with Force lightning, Rey summons Anakin's lightsaber (she's using Leia's to block the attack), says she's all the Jedi, and just straight up overpowers Palpatine's lightning and throws it back at him with her lightsabers, which kills him. If you're wondering why that didn't work for Mace Windu, it's because Rey used two lightsabers, which apparently doubles your power level in Disney Wars.

I've not seen the film, yet, but the Star Wars Expanded Universe in literature uses cloning to bring Palpy back, and I wouldn't be surprised if the writers took a page from the EU.

If that happens then Dark Rey would likely be a clone as well. And Light Rey might even be a clone of Luke or Anakin.

So I hope not as they would likely go crazy on the idea...

Then again, if its not a clone Palpatine actually surviving the second Death Star would be stupid as hell as well, so its a lose lose.

Maybe a dark side resurrection ritual? Or a World between Worlds like we got in Rebels transcending time and space. Although that would be a bit too Trekky methinks.

Don't get your hopes up...

Didn’t Luke turn to the dark side in that?

^ Yes he did, to fight the Empire from within.

DE makes a lot more sense than this ST by comparison.

So, in other words, "Hey, let's go ahead and rehash the Original Trilogy plot but with new characters and some Frankenstein monster plot assembly to make it work." Because that's just Luke and Vader vs. Palps all over again but with more steps and different characters. They literally just told the same story.

We already GOT the story of Luke "beating" The Emperor. We don't need Luke 2.0 beating The Emperor.

Spoiler:
Well, no. Luke beat him spiritually, which led to Vader's redemption, and the Emperor's defeat. Rey, on the other hand, just overpowers him. And get this. This version of Sidious was so strong that he was powering the entire Final Order fleet(which is a fleet of PLANET KILLERS) with the Dark side, while he also disabled every Rebel ship with his Force lightning. All this while Rey is fighting him, too. When he dies the whole fleet goes with him.

What was JJ thinking? "F*ck it", I suspect.

Hahaha just watched the ending and this movie was even more shit than I imagined.

That's Jar Jar Abrams for you. He killed Star Trek and now Star Wars too.
