That's awful for a franchise film. For comparison, JL also had a B+ cinemascore...

Yeah decent for a new franchise film. But for the biggest of the biggest like Avengers or Star Wars its not good.

Like I said, worst ever for a Star Wars film.

Haha. true.

Good movie overall

Spoiler:
the horses on the star destroyer was the absolute worst of the worst.

Didn't think they could pull off something shitter than the Ewoks but they went and proved me wrong.

Spoiler:
Ewoks are in the film, too.

Oh I know, just pointing out how rubbish that charge of the light brigade atop of a spaceship was.

Y'all don't like the ewoks?

Cool, would fix but it's too late apparently.

Ewoks are awesome, AND serve an important narrative purpose in ROTJ.

Plus, they EAT stormtroopers.

Yeah, you can't edit posts after 15 mins pass or something like that.

😂

Why is the "Holdo maneuver" now "one in a million?"

Good question...

Spoiler:
Finn suddenly feeling connection with The Force, knowing what to do was ridiculous as f*ck
😂

Could anyone make sense of that trainwreck of a movie?

They don't go into detail at all about how Palpatine survived. He says at one point in the film

Spoiler:
"I have died before" iirc, but like... so what, Snoke was a failed clone? There were a couple Snokes floating in tanks, but all he said was he created Snoke, he couldn't have been a clone of Palps then? Palps himself was all f***ed up, parts of his fingers were missing and his arms and shit were all scarred up and he had to be supported by being hooked up to this giant mechanical arm, so is that his original body then? Or his clone bodies just degrade super quickly? Who knows.

I still can't believe how retarded his plan was either...

"Kylo, go kill Rey. You haven't killed her yet, what are you waiting for? Go kill her! Oh Rey, you're here. I didn't actually want you to die, I wanted to you come here and have you kill me and assume the throne. Welcome, Empress. Oh you don't want the throne? You want to team up with Ben and try to kill me? Okay, I will just ragdoll you both then. lol what the ****?

To me, it was Abrams's way of not ignoring that it happened, but also kind of saying "we're not doing that dumb shit again".

Spoiler:
I like how flashback-Leia is more powerful and skilled than Luke with a lightsaber.

It was too problematic. Because then theyd have to do that in every space battle.
