Also, Rian Johnson directed two of the very best Breaking Bad episodes ever, both of which standing head and shoulders above JJ Abrams entire work catalog. And if what I hear about several of his non-Star Wars films is true the same can be said of his films tbh.
JJ Abrams has never directed anything that was more than "okay".
Just got back from watching this movie. I am so glad I read all the leaks weeks/months in advance so that I was prepared for this trainwreck. People have loved shitting on Disney Star Wars and lots of people like to overreact to things, but this is almost certainly my least favorite Star Wars movie ever. I will do a marathon of the entire saga at some point next year and really get a full feeling for it but yikes...
