So Charles Soule recently announced that issue #25 will not only conclude the "Fortress Vader" arc, but will conclude the entire series:

It's a shame this is ending. I really liked where the series was heading.

So, what about all the other Jedi? I wanted to see them die, hope they won’t get off-paneled

Wonder if they’ll launch a third Darth Vader series, wouldn’t doubt it.

Maybe we’ll get more.....Dracula Dooku?! 😱

Yeah, I was really hoping the series would continue expanding on the Purge and whatnot -- especially with all of the Jedi survivors they've teased. But alas.

Hopefully they'll pop-up again in future projects, though.

There's already another five issue Vader miniseries in production that will launch immediately after the current series ends, called Shadow of Vader:

Chuck Wendig on Darth Vader and his newly-announced series, Shadow of Vader: "Vader is a character with a long shadow, literally and figuratively. His legacy is deep and unpleasant." The world will not be bereft of Darth Vader in their comics for long, as Wendig announced that he will be writing a miniseries called Shadow of Vader, beginning in November. Each issue will feature a different set of characters: Issue #1 is a Friday the 13th homage, with Vader hunting down kids at summer camp; issue #2 stars the one-and-only Willrow Hood; issue #3 centers on a morgue attendant on the Death Star; issue #4 diverges to focus on the Acolytes of the Beyond; issue #5 follows a New Republic pilot - whose parents were killed by Vader - who joins the Resistance only to learn that Leia's father is the Sith Lord.

Issues 4-5 sound mildly intriguing, but the others? Meh.

How the hell does Wendig still get work... Nice covers tho.

Anyway, I've not been a fan of the current Vader series so no big loss IMO.

Tales From Vader's Castle #2 - Vamp Dooku:

Hmmmm, at least it had a sci fi twist in a way.

At least the artwork was WAY better than what we typically get in Adventures titles. /shrug

Dooku's pretty bamf in that.

Is this stuff canon?

Yes it is.

Darth Vader #22 preview-

Lord Momin:

Looks like a very cool issue

👆

I expected to get Momin's backstory and possibly see his true face on-panel. I didn't expect his first Sith master(or perhaps follower?) to be introduced as well.

But I really didn’t get what the sculpture momin did is

Momin's sculptures seem to contain organic elements -- that is to say: he killed things in order to make artwork out of them. That's likely why everyone else was so abhorred by his creations, and why he was imprisoned.

We should get more about that in the issue itself, though.

Btw i’m Surprised no one here complained about the name Momin. Doesn’t sound very cool to me, on contrary it sounds funny. Maybe it’s because it’s very similar to the surname of a girl I know 🤔

I think the major 'complaint' about his name was the pronunciation. Is it "Moe-min" or "Mom-in"..?

I'm going with the former, personally.

I was kinda annoyed with his name too tbh. But eh, minor details I suppose.
