Herc/Hulk have met like 21 times....and most of them are draws/inconclusive. So yeah, it's not inconceivable that Herc could beat Hulk.
After all, if we are using lip service from WWH, Banner said he was the one who had the best chance of stopping WWH.
And this was after he had fought the Sentry, Hulkbuster Iron Man, Black Skrullbolt, Zom-Strange, Ghost Rider etc...

That's my point. Herc never beat Savage Hulk, not once. Everyone here would give Savage Hulk over Herc in a forum fight. Colossus beat Hulk. That has to mean something. Ares can never do that.

It's been a few years but wasn't Hercules having some trouble with Gargan a while back? I remember Hercules having issues getting Venom from trying to eat his arm or something. Even smashing him off of Sentry and he still was holding on.

Mac was relentless, but couldn't really hurt Herc, either. Though it's worth pointing out he didn't fully venom out in that fight.
