I always got a chuckle out of Pr saying I look like a **** (whatever the asterisk means) in this thread, i.e. making a personal comment, of which I made none, but the real offense was me 'trolling' by questioning a feat by Colossus by giving reasons why I wasn't impressed.

Ares could beat Juggernaut where Colossus fails. Ares divinity gives him strength like when Legion asks his Delphi personality to answer a question. Another words boil legions power down to energy and you’ll come up Ares. He may not be strongets but his energies run red.

That's an interesting interpretation of what happened.

The important thing to note about this is that Ares would fold Colossus' arms back and turn him into a can of borscht soup.

Ares has no strength feats suggesting he could do that to Molten Man, let alone Colossus.

Colossus has a slight strength advantage. Ares has a massive skill advantage. Going with Ares on this one.

(And no, Ares is not nearly as strong as Hercules / Thor, no matter how some of their fights looked. Thor and Hercules are outliers when it comes to the strength department of Asgardians and gods from the Olymp. Even Odin and Zeus are below 100 tonners and need to amp their strength with magic.)

And singled me out as 'trolling' and 'hating' when I posted as normally as I always do when it's a thread I have no stake in; afterall I've talked shit about Ares regularly and I dont care about Colossus at all.

Stilt was the one doing anything resembling trolling. But I guess since it wasnt at the expense of Colossus it was overlooked.

The exchange with you was pretty hypocritical all around.

Sure, why not his handbook bio as well?

But other than that, I've read every single Ares comic. And the recurring pattern I saw with him, was him using skill to keep up with +100 tonners / heavy hitters... be it Thor, Hercules, Skaar, A-Bomb and so on. When I think of Colossus, I don't really see him as someone, who can keep up with the same characters as well as Ares can. Sure, you can find the examples given in how much more comics Colossus has appeared... but in the end of the day he isn't really that skillful character, who uses skill to deal with a Hulk or a Thor.
