You're being extremely disingenuous here, and it isn't heping your argument. Colossus can not defeat the Hulk, or Gladiator. Not sure why you continue bringing it up as if you've made a solid point? You haven't. Hulk would crush Colossus, and Gladiator would toss him into deep space after Koing him with speed punches. He wouldn't beat Namor, or Hercules either. Sasquatch would probably ruin him along with a very long line of characters that the two that you continue to mention would walk on.

Because he is a Superman analogue and even on his worst day, he's more of a threat than Ares.

Not from what I've seen of him from his time as an Avenger. Much faster, far better fighter. What gives you the idea that Colossus could outfight Ares?

Marvel pushed Colossus as a Superman (man of steel) who couldn't fly. That's why he fought Gladiator toe to toe and beat the Hulk. If you believe it is PIS then prove it. The problems with your logical deductions stem from your overuse of one time showings. So yeah sure, if me and the rest of the forum decided to look at the picture that you're trying to paint while willfully ignoring the rest of the pictures, you'd have solid ground to stand on. You must think it's clever to throw in Colossus vs Gladiator with equalized speed, but even that doesn't work when we've seen Gladiator tear starships apart that had explosions capable of blowing Colossus to bits.

Savage Hulk at his best was superior to Professor Hulk in terms of overall strength and power according to Peter David. Even Professor Hulk would've beaten the life out of Colossus. You're leaning on one showing, while willfully ignoring a multitude of others. Ares is faster and a far greater fighter. These are both characteristics that you've adamantly argued for in the past. What's changed? Ares was seen going toe to toe with Hercules. With this knowledge, we can reasonably place him within Colossus' strength class. So how does Colossus win?

I guess the writer views Thor as being super-fast (which imo he should), considering that Colossus has enhanced speed.

But compared to say, Gladiator's speed? Even Savage Hulk?

Both of whom fight Thor a lot obv. H1 is all about the speed, so in a forum fight, he would never say Colossus and Glads was a fight.

Professor Hulk was a Drax the Destroyer level combatant (Infantile Drax version). Drax nearly choked the life out of the Silver Surfer when they first met. What did he do to Colossus? Professor Hulk swatted Colossus away back in those days as well. I believe that it was during the Infinity Crusade?

Even with equalized speed, Colossus is sorely lacking in strength, and durability to ever beat Gladiator. When they fought, didn't Gladiator have a smile on his face? He could've ended it at any time by using his speed, but made sport of it. Plus it was a great way for the book to generate a sense of drama.

Colossus vs Hulk? C'mon. Peter is a decent character, but he's simply not in that weight class.

I wouldn't say that Ares is stronger than Colossus, but I believe that he's very close. Too close for it to matter. The reason that I'd give Ares the nod is the speed and combat edge that he has over Colossus. Look at the way he moved when he was an Avenger. Leaping to the point of flight, while executing Captain America type acrobatics. I just feel as if Colossus would be schooled here.

New speed feat for Thor.Mjolnir is in his right hand and then he superspeeds it to his left when he hits colossus. I calculated that at about a billion mph. And that's combat speed.

But he has performed very well against WWH and Savage Hulk, considering that.
