Correction: almost no one on all the planet has a private jet.

Except for Politicians. Celebrities and Rich People. Lots of those people have them. Or at the least RENT them. Which is the same thing.

You mean almost no politicians, very few celebrities except a very few select ultra rich ones, and the ultra rich who make up a tiny fraction of the top 1%?

Those people?

You also forgot about those ultra rich preachers who have private jets. Very few of them have private jets but the ones that do are just the "Ultra Rich."

I can rent a private jet. I'm not rich.

It costs $1,200-$8,500 per flight hour. Many first class tickets on large commercial airliners cost more than $1,200. Some economy class tickets cost more than $1,200 for just a 5 hour flight.

Renting and owning are very far apart.

Sounds like you are a rich person to me. I used to work in the "Private Jet" industry so I know that there are more of them out there you would like to have us believe.

So that 1% Bullshit don't Fly like it used to.

Yep

Even most multimillionaires can’t afford to own a private jet

Nope.

While I agree that jet ownership isn't very common, that article is a bit misleading. IE stating that it costs tens of millions to buy a private jet. just checked https://www.avbuyer.com/aircraft/private-jets

There are plenty of jets avaliable for well below 10,000,000, let alone 10's of millions.

Hey Look. I can Post Links TOO!

List of Cerlebrities that Own Private jets

Bollywood Celebrities that Own Private jets

DDM id like your take on how the same people that can be against Trump for all the reasons but be for Avenatii, they are both loud mouth, narcissists, boast about themselves, threaten to fight people, work for porn stars, **** porn stars etc. Are people kidding themselves that others can't see through the bullshit and hypocrisy? I get it if you don't like Trump, the **** Trump, but then be for Avenatti, the same showboat, I mean its really sad people think they don't see through the front of bs.

The guy literally wants to be Trump, and tried to copy exactly what Trump did, show up, say a bunch of bullcrap, get the media to give you all this free airtime ($175 million for Avenatti) and then because he represents the best of society has to offer (porn stars) he's "going to run for President"

All the people who literally said Trump will never run or be president are the ones who said "Avenatti could be the next President" and they didn't just say it, the believed it. And then they forget about him as soon as he had any trouble, the guy hasn't been on any show for weeks and he's finally come to terms with he will never be president.

Even CNN's Editor in Large is trolling him on CNN.To me, it shows they will grasp at anything to take Trump down even if its a tax fraud divorced porn star lawyer.

"For Avenatti"? You're acting like this guy's running for the POTUS and he has tens of millions of people voting for him. He was a gimmick, I should say "is a", as he's not done, he'll come back once the dust settles and do his thing some more, even if it's subdued.

I mean, I get your angle, but it's silly. At least wait until late 2019-2020 to see if this guy's even a player to be begin with.

edti: It was also Steve Bannon who started the "Avenatti would be a great candidate", not sure if he really meant it or was ****ing around.

Well you're wrong and it is obvious why you don't work in the "private jet industry": you got fired for being an idiot. 🙂

Marketwatch is a rather benign business-focused media site. I have no idea how Fly can spin that article into a conspiracy that they are favoring rich people (while telling us that even most rich people cannot afford private jets).

To succeed as a democrat, you have to be extremely hypocritical but manage your corruption like a boss so that it doesn't ever come back to hurt you.

You also have to be very vocal about hating the GOP to succeed as a Dem.

Avenatti failed to manage his corruption and now he's paying for it.

Steve was smiling big when he said that, pretty sure he was trolling Maher.

I don't think he's done, he loves the attention I think. Plus I would rather talk about someone else once in a while then Trump, that's all everyone talks about. I agree with Pelosi when she said "stop talking about Trump so much"

I think people on both sides could learn that lesson. There are other interesting things going on that don't have to involve Trump.

I think power is addicting when you think you have even a little you try and get more, he wasn't satisfied with being a national figure, he wanted more, but to soon, and to many skeletons.
