Skinny-Fat is what I call "soggy", it's a guy who is neither really fat or skinny, but they have the muscle mass, density and definition of someone who has avoided doing physical activities their entire life, never helped a buddy move a couch, never carried a box up the stairs. Bring in the groceries? Phuck that, I've got sitting on the coach to do. etc. They have just enough muscle mass to move their bodies around from point A to point B, barely.
This is different than classic fat or skinny guys, both of which can have muscle and/or strength that you may not see because they work out or do other physical strength activities.
eg 10+ years ago, strong guy at my gym was this guy in his late 40's, fat guy. I mean fat. But he had some serious dense muscle mass under that fat. He'd bench press 600+ while making the angry mating sounds of a walrus. Had great feats of strength with his back, shoulders and legs as well, he wasn't a one-trick-pony. Dude had some seriously impressive strength is what I'm saying.
