Incels, fascists and islamic terrorists, you have so much in common.

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2018/may/04/what-do-incels-fascists-and-terrorists-have-in-common-violent-misogyny

The apparent connection of recent murders in Toronto to the “incel” movement has led to a torrent of commentary. Too much of it has appeared to rationalise Alek Minassian’s actions. Just yesterday, New York Times columnist Ross Douthat made their major gripe – that the world denies them sex – into the basis of a kind of seminar room thought experiment, wondering whether a redistribution of sex might not be “entirely responsive to the logic of late-modern sexual life”.

But to accept this is to take their story of victimhood as read. We shouldn’t.

To get the measure of this movement, and its danger, we could turn to their sympathisers on Twitter, who have been busy blaming “‘empowered’ w*myn on oral contraceptives” and “anti-male culture” for the incel phenomenon, and warning of insurrection.

fragile masculinity does seem to be the chief motivator behind both isis and vanilla isis

Bait threads can get people banned, just fyi.

Has someone reported him?

I only ask, because in fairness, there's a lot of baiting on both sides here.

That's not a defense, and I'm not trying to backseat mod, simply pointing out there's context, in case he's being reported by other members with an axe to grind (There's also quite a bit of hostility between some members)

That said, I'll shut up now.

Yeah, here's the thing...you can view the topics posters create from a link in their profile. Here is Putinbots(the most recent threads will be at the top)

http://www.killermovies.com/forums/search.php?s=&action=showresults&searchid=712891

Do you perhaps notice a pattern? Just look at the first 20 or so.

Should he be banned? If bait threads can get you banned then sure there are grounds to do it 1,000 times over, but I'd say no, he'd just come back anyways even if he was. But his bait threads far outnumber those from most other people.

Frankly, I think logging someone's entire posting career is problematic for several reasons. It ignores a lot of context, such as mod temperaments at the time, inter-poster relationships, sources of conflict between said posters.

It's easy to single out a single poster, over any length of time, and have them looking very bad.

That said, if mods make a decision regarding certain behavior, at a certain time, for all posters, then that's not something to argue against. And, that isn't what I'm arguing against now,

It's the muck raking I'm against. Posters looking to "blackball" other posters with a catalog of bad behavior. As I told Stilt, I was on CBR for some years, and certain posters did exactly this. Mods banned almost the entire core membership by the time it was done. The mass banning DESTROYED the community.

I was actually at the board they migrated to, when it happened, for quite some time.

Anyways, that's all I have to say on the subject.., I hope it made "some" sense, and didn't sound too preachy or disjointed.

Lol ust look at the stuff from the past 2 months. Those will be the top results. There is no excuse of "it was a different time". The entire first page only goes back to only late September. It paints a clear enough picture you don't need to look back years.

Remember: this guy is posting on a sock that isn't even a year old.

^^made a sock account to avoid banning, was spared a permaban, and still cried 'injustice'

Special rules for surt, but the rest of you behave of he'll cry again.

Maybe an example of what I'm trying to get at:

From Impedimemt, a mod:

http://www.killermovies.com/forums/f104/t504517.html

Second post, last block. The part where he says for childish insults or slights, he won't hand hold, and if someone hits you, hit them back. Essentially, his policy is to go after the greater problems (Like attacking family, or serious threats against people) and to let posters handle the rest as adults. He trusts them to play nice, and trusts them to be able to handle themselves if they play rough.

That's Impedimemts policy. Say a new mod steps in, with his own policy. Perhaps he takes a sterner view against petty insults or baiting.

It would be really easy to target a poster, and make him look really bad to this new mod. Very, very easy.

Cataloging someone to mods is bad news, imo.

First off, PR isn't even a new mod. Been here for a while. Second, I wasn't linking his posts for a mod to see, it was in response to your post about both sides. Finally, I even said I don't feel he should be banned.

Isn't Bashy ALSO a sock?

^^posts the most 'bait threads'

Also has the honor of being kmc's oldest incel

^Posts in all of "Said" bait threads.

He wasn't reported; I just saw the thread title and shook my head. I had no expectation that my post would cause an actual discussion in the thread.

Truth is, if anyone was to get banned, it wouldn't be for one singular thing unless it was really, really bad. People generally need to wear out their welcome before the mods will actually get rid of them, despite what some might claim.

Re: Incels, fascists and islamic terrorists, you have so much in common.

Good read, thank you

Here is a good video on these losers

YouTube video

That is a youtube video and thus you negated the point you were trynig to make.

Sorry Brah.

I wasnt trying to make a point, I just posted a video and gave a nod to the OP for the link.

That aint how it works Brah.

How what works?

The problem is the words incel and fascist, like so many other words the left loves to use, have been stripped of most of their meaning through improper usage.
