The CW shows and Gotham are widely held as the worst live action TV shows. Marvel is a more successful franchise and those are facts. Marvel has better movies that’s also a fact. I appreciate some DC things like ‘Titans’ and ‘Joker’ although it’s not really connected a stand-alone.

None of the DC shows made waves among casuals. Many casuals even non comic reading women, LOVED the Netflix shows. Because they are objectively better whether you like comics or not. Period.

Except, that's not the original point you made. And goalpost moving isn't exactly cute either.

Plus as Galan pointed out, DS, J'onn and Bruce were at the wake (plus Clark):

Doctor Destiny was a villain in the Sandman series:

MAX comics generally aren't canon... still, some titles take place in the mainstream universe - Cage, Blade, Shang-Chi or Thor: Vikings (KMC's favorite), to name a few.

Same thing applies to Vertigo, as MrMind said, some books happen in the mainstream universe, some are their own thing.

There were quite a few other things, too.

Like when it was revealed in Season of Mists that Vertigo Odin had created the 'mini-Ragnarok' cycle the golden age JSA was trapped in:

Plus he's wrong anyways. Some CW shows were pretty good. Arrow started off really good, until it went downhill.

Legends of Tomrrow was almost always generally good.

Gotham was... Gotham. I don't really consider it bad, so much as its own thing, but I can't say I wasn't entertained.

Pretty much. Plus Swamp Thing was a really interesting watch.

I enjoyed Swamp Thing and Doom Patrol, which I still hold as the best comic live action show.

But overall? Batman TAS still rules.

It's exactly my point, No matter how much Iron Fist "sucked" EVERY dc show was worser than it. Imagine thinking DC has good shows when everything from the CW shows to Lucifer is pure assjuice. Even among DC fans no one outright thinks that DC shows are better. Welcome to a minority opinion and shitty taste 👍🏿 even DC fans *mostly* admit only Arrow and Flash we're good. Were. Past tense. Cuz they got shitty later

Anyone who thinks Supergirl is good or doesn't cringe at Legends costumes and effects obviously has taste too shitty to quantify. Gotham was a rollercoaster of a shit show. Looked craptastic in previews leading up to the show. Surprisingly good in the beginning. Then predictably, like all DC TV, it got incredibly stupid out of nowhere

Even the Jessica Jones series was better then anything in the CW verse

Did it, though?

That shit was too grotesque of an event to not be referenced in the future... Along with other inconcistencies led me to believe it was an alternate earth very similar to classic 616. Kinda like MZ 🤔

Elaine Belloc mentioned in 31st century

the story of OA's ancestor, and how Rao created krypton with the intention of doomed fate

mogo appeared in sandman overture

Aleph mentioned by both Lucifer and Darkseid

it's quite cool moment dematteis and morrison have the same view that
the source=presence=overvoid

Arrow and Flash both started off really, really strongly. They just fell victim to being a CW show as time went on.

Doom Patrol is better than anything bar Daredevil and Punisher season 1. You would know that if you actually watched it and weren't so blinded by your own hate.

Also, it really doesn't help that, again, you keep changing whatever your point is supposed to be.

Watchmen also was good and cleaned up the awards.

Doom Patrol is not better than those shows. And if Arrow and Flash fell victim to being CW shows then they suck. Ain't no prize for "used to be" good.

I didn't like it, tbh.

Yes it is. You could even argue that it's better in certain aspects, considering how it isn't padded to ****ing hell.

I never said they did or didn't.

You don't think Doom Patrol is better than Iron Fist (your original point, Albert?)

Not at all.

Prove it is better than Doom Patrol.

Woah woah lets not get crazy now.

Maybe have him prove an objectively bad show is better. Like.. Jessica Jones. Or Luke Cage. Or Punisher.

You know, the bad shows.

I agree with you. 👆

But also agree with Darksaints overall point. If you compare the worst shows in Marvel to Doom Patrol, it is no contest.

Now, what is the worst show from Marvel? The very worst TV show, from Marvel?
