What a stupid retcon. JA isn't even the main Thor writer anymore, Cates is. I don't think I've ever seen this happen. Where the writer of the main Thor book isn't in major control of all changes.
It kind of legitimatizes all those rumours of JA being petty. I feel kind of bad. He's still trying to make Jane Foster relevant as the Valkyrie but sales are abysmal. So are the Avengers sales. Meanwhile Thor #1 beat Spider-Man, X-men, Batman etc. and has consistently been in the top 5-15 (I think in September, Thor #5, 6, and 7 outsold every Marvel book except Spider-Man and X-men franchises).
Imagine being such a bad writer, everyone is sick of the Avengers. Dude isn't even trying anymore. JA is Bendis level in terms of phoning it in atm.
