Iirc when Beast became an Avenger ,not many in the Marvel U knew he was a mutant ,they just thought he was a mutate.Plus.....I can't think of a mutant superhero who isn't part of one of the Xteams. So that would also point to Spidey not being a mutant (to the average Joe in the Street). Still, as I said, Spidey has and was believed to be a mutant in the past.
Others like Quicksilver, Cloak & Dagger, Molly Hayes, Firestar have all been on an X team at some point but that’s not really their affiliation

Haven’t read this issue. But in this entire event, Superman seemed to be holding back trying to communicate. Didn’t seem happy with how things turned out at the end. Any ideas what he wanted to do? Why he said no to Batman?
