I love Superman and all, but the way writers writes him leaves you scratching your head at times, and the fans sometimes are weird as well.
Funny thing is when you look at his live action and cartoons, the most famous live action is Reeve. His Superman casually killed the Kryptonians with a smile on his face. While in his cartoons in his battle with Darkseid, he was casually destroying buildings left and right and not caring.
I just don’t understand why they can’t just stick with one characterization of the character.
Killing is bad, but to not kill to end mass slaughter when you have the power to do so is childish and stupid.

How come women never get to be funny. Like, there's Gwenpoole, but she's kind of an exception. Wanda, Jane Thor, Sue Richards, Elektra, the Wakandan stick women, they're all always super serious. Like they're work obsessed and don't know how to make like Tony Stark and drink at 10 in the morning.
As does Tony. But your point was that writers don't write her as having fun 'like Tony' - actually, she IS written as having fun.
Same as WW, especially when Simone was writing her. Same as Harley Quinn.
So that's a fair few characters I've just named, especially when you compare the number of female solo books Vs male.
