Kenobi beat Sith by using their overconfidence against them in the movies, which is honestly a pretty legit way to deal with the Dark Side and it's proven time and time again.

With his long pedigree as a producer combined with co-starring in the bestest prequels ever, what can possibly go wrong? 😂

Ewan is a great actor. Top drawer. if the prequels are watchable at all it's largely because of him. But as a producer/writer? I'm not so sure.

I mean, I want to be worrying about nothing, and for the show to be a hit. I'm just worried.

What is worrying is the absence of Filoni & Favreau, unless I missed something.

Yeah, that's concerning too. Hayden being in it makes me wonder just how big a role Vader is going to have in it too. If it's up to him, a lot, unless he's changed his mind of late.

The whole prequel trilogy was AWESOME.

I think the Kenobi series will be genuinely good. Live action Inquisitors should be awesome, and so far virtually everything Vader has made an appearance in has been epic. That said, the only thing I'm a bit concerned with is the purported 'fight' between Vader and Kenobi, because of the potential for it to cheapen their confrontation in ANH... Though if done right it might be okay, I suppose.

On a sidenote: I'm really holding out hope that we'll see Kenobi commune with Qui-Gon's spirit at some point in this... And if Liam actually appears in spirit form(like he's done in the novels), I will nerdjizz on every conceivable surface of my home. 👆

Same, especially about the Qui-Gon part. iirc Neeson loved his time on Star Wars and has said he'd be willing to come back.

Deborah Chow has directed two episodes of The Mandalorian (which cdtm hates with passion, as "Baby Yoda" reminds him of his lost childhood), so she seems like a good choice.

But that Joby Harold guy writing the script? Little concerning, no?
