I think demons in Marvel Universe are classified not according to their power level but according to their origin and appearance. A class 3 demon is one that was born in a dimension other than earth (extradimensional) and does not have a humanoid appearance.

Class 1 demons are those that are humanoid in appearance and intradimensional (i.e., born within the 616 universe, e.g., the elders Gods), Class 2 demons are humanoid but extradimensional (i.e., living in a different universe, usually a small pocket universe, e.g., Mephisto), and Class 3 demons are non-humanoid and extradimensional (such as Shuma Gorath).

Maybe the beyonders are effective against cosmic beings, but not so much against mortals?
Originally posted by Classic NESNot that I am aware of but I haven't kept up with all of the Starbrand's appearances. It's been described as a planetary defense system. But quite frankly, he exhibited power levels well beyond that during the White Event. During its most recent return, it blew up planets, drew the attention of Heralds and was described as the universe's most powerful weapon, etc. So the Starbrand sacrificing itself to destroy a Beyonder was less of an eyebrow raiser for me than it was for the Ex Nihili and Abyss transmuting the other.
Wasn't there an explanation for why Starbrand could kill one? Something about not being bound to 616 's universal hierarchy or something? Maybe I'm misremembering.

Not to my knowledge, no. I think it's implied their energies were weaker/drained in the Nightmare Realm?
Speaking about some old scans and questions. Does there exist any explanations for why these creatures from Dark Multiverse appear to be not immune to normal attacks like the Twisted-Dark-Batman-Justice League were?
You can feel it, right? We're not made from the same stuff as you....every punch you throw, it just makes you weaker. You can't hurt me. You can't hurt any of us. But us...We can sure hurt you
And when The Resistance fought a Dark Multiverse Robin, all of Green Arrow attacks seem to have little effect on him, and it implied only Nth Metal can hurt(or at least kill) them
I keep hitting him(Dark Multiverse Robin)...But he doesn't seem to feel anything

Nth metal. It hurts them. We saw it in Gotham(referring the scene above)
But after that, It looks like many other Dark Multiverse beings still are affected by normal attacks

I mean I thought it was pretty clear that they were just toying around with Thor and Hyperion
