Creepy? What nonsense. Kryptonians are a far more advanced species than humans; like what humans are to cats or dogs. Do we condemn humans if they pet and hug and kiss puppies and kittens? No. It would, therefore, be hypocritical to condemn kryptonians for doing the same.

Especially if the kitten purrs in response.

No, but I think the recent issue is better compared to previous issues. Though it mainly because I feel the plot finally begun moving
