It's not as blatant as his current feats, but that never stopped you from using far more dubious feats over the years and you know it.

Is it because of the trajectory of the bullets?

They are seemingly shot from behind him... and then drawn as if they are flying towards this face... and then he dodges and the bullets are drawn flying past, from behind him...

Doesn't really affect the quality of the feat (although I suppose it's more impressive if they were fired from behind) but it is a weird sequence.

Anyway, yeah - it's hardly the first time heroes get wanked a bit in the mainstream comics because of their films. Widow had her turn before Shang.

Ohhhh... I misinterpreted the 4th and 5th panels as if the bullets were fired at his face. And I couldn't figure out why the trajectory changed to being fired from behind him in the 6th panel. Now it makes a lot more sense.
