Darksaint agreed with your argument saying that in THAT story, the Avengers were weak since they previously couldn't stop a meteor. Basically saying that the team Hulk beat isn't impressive.

This doesn't make sense. One I don't low-ball, Thor was trash for a really long time. So you're wrong on those accounts . The thing with Hulk is more often than not teammates pull their punches when engaging him. He fights heroes more often than villains and they rarely go all out and when they do they try to punch him to death. Wwh is a great example. This isn't to say that Hulk isn't powerful. But they've fought alongside him and against him for long enough to know how to affectively put him down without all the fuss.

We are talking about Jane Thor and they had no reason to hold back. The planet was at stake and their goal was to stop him from getting a crystal or the world...

He overpowered them with ease, got the crystal and destroyed it. At one point, Herc hurt his hand punching Hulk. I disagree with everything you said by the way but you're entitled to feel the way you feel. Do you agree Hulk holds back on the Avengers?

Heroes ALWAYS hold back on the opening salvo. New threat arises, they lukewarkly attempt to stop it. Get wrecked, lick wounds cue 80s music and win for another day. The planet at stake is immaterial. It's a backdrop. Earth 616 is never truly in danger.

Yes. Every hero holds back. Logan sheathes his claws, hulk calculates collateral, Thor/Suffer forget half their powers, flash, supes. They all every last one pull punches. Unless the narrative depicts otherwise

Agreed, for the most part. Spidey especially pulls his punches, and deeply regrets the time he lost it against Sin Eater.
