So does Iron Fist still not have his Iron Fist? What has Danny even been up to lately?

I liked that Deadpool story where Deadpool 2099 teams up with Iron Fist 2099, but thought it was funny how Danny looked like Master Roshi. The chi is supposed to heal you, you'd think it could reverse aging, at least if you channeled the stuff in regular meditations.

Avenger’s beyond #1 retcon the beyonders origin again.

Planet hulk Worldbreak has got to be one of the most boring hulk series I’ve ever read.

my dissapointment in marvel's cosmology heirarchy is at an all time high.

correct me if im wrong.though they didnt really retcon it, just added another origin which does not necessarily changes/retcon much?

yup new origin. Also beyonder made it seem like the beyond was just another universe.

Being the creations of the Celestials was a rather recent origin for him too. Are the editors not communicating the story ideas with each another? It takes longer to write and draw a comic than it does to read and comment on it, so what are they doing all day? Even Wikipedia mentions Defenders: Beyond under Beyonder's profile in the last paragraph of biography.

It's inconsistent.

In Defenders: Beyond the Beyonder explained that the Beyonders were created the Celestials, to serve as the custodians of the multiverse shortly after it had been created.

Now the same character is outlining a completely different origin for his race, in which they were created by a character called the Lost One. The Beyonders then proceeded to steal the Lost One's powers and trapped his body in a moon.

Whether it's a retcon depends on how it's handled from here. Ewing is in the middle of telling his own story arch, and whether he'll accommodate this revision of the character or if he'll just go on with his own thing is still up in the air.

^ Agreed, it appears inconsistent. But the lead-up to this comic was all about inconsistency and the Avengers realizing that reality was being manipulated. Who knows, Beyonder could be screwing with them again for sh1ts and g1ggles. But wouldn't be the first time comics were inconsistent. Many cooks in the kitchen, after all.

I am personally shocked at what Chip Zdarsky did in the most recent issue of Daredevil though. I'm hard-pressed to think of something more devastatingly f'ed up that's ever happened to a mainline character.

Spoiler:
: What happened to Kid Loki comes to mind, I guess.

We're way past spoiling that one, and yes I agree Kid Loki deserved better.

^ Well... I wasn't trying to spoil Kid Loki as that happened years ago but what happened to Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson just happened right now.

You know what was a missed opportunity? DC One Million.

So much potential there, and they only ever dig them out to job. Jonathan Fox as Flash was a loser, and even Superman One Million himself was gang raped by the seven deadly sins. Only exception was really Matthew Tyler, and they ended up killing him off.

How awesome would it have been if, say, during Infinite Crisis a Superman One Million suddenly appeared to hold off Supernan Prime, and was on a timer where his powers faded as they fought? Glorious Pre Crisis tier brawl with SBP calling the concept of a Super Family "stupid".

been reading joker the man who stopped laughing

This series is written by the greatest Hulk writer of all time, Peter Allen David.

Fisk sure deserved a good panel or two after getting humiliated twice earlier.

Bendis is greatest Hulkwriter.

Bendis never worked on a Hulk book.

That makes Hulk books Bendis best work.

Anybody else think Al Ewing trying a little bit too hard to make Venom cosmically relevant?

Nobody talking about Spidey cleverly getting the upper-hand on Cap neither?
