Or unless Superman was talking about the white sun...which was nourished by the blood of a god of the first world/an old god
https://ibb.co/cQMZkNVWhich, sounds very close to what Superman was saying here

He's clearly talking about the kryptonite in Metallo chest.
^ I think the depiction is confusing and you guys aren't as far apart as you might think nor is it either side's fault.
I believe Superman's talking about the material composition of the Orphan Box. The Orphan Box might be powered by kryptonite, but the Orphan Box itself is made of Warworld mineral, i.e., Genesis, a/k/a blood of an old god, which counteracts any kryptonite poisoning.
So Superman's random energy armor projection ability he exhibited may not be an ability provided by the white sun amp during the Warworld Saga but neither was it provided by weird kryptonite.
The random power seems to be attributed to Superman's proximity to the Genesis minerals that made up the Orphan Box.
Having said that, it's possible this spontaneous ability would not have been possible without the prior white sun amp. Just have to see how the storyline develops.
Does anybody have any frikkin clue what the heck is going on in the Thor ongoing???
Like... Donny Cates is revisiting Bor, the Galactus Seed, Thanos' brief alliance w/ Hela, Thanos' banishment in the black hole during Guardians of the Galaxy, Doom's rivalry w/ Thor, and I am dizzy.
I mean... WTF even is this cover of the next issue????

It sounds like gushing... but Sins of Sinister was one of the best alternate reality storylines I've ever read. Top 3 for sure.
There were the absurdly ingenious myriad ways that Mister Sinister combined mutant genes into experimental hybrids. The exploration of how Mister Sinister-infected mutants would devastate the universe if given free reign without morals. The competing machinations of the four Sinister clones on how to approach the issue of Dominion Ascension introduced by Hickman. And the glorious come-uppances of those characters with hubris that ensue...

^ You do need to know the basics of Hickman's X-Men run, i.e., Moira MacTaggert's mutant power, why the mutant nation of Krakoa was created, the Dominion Ascension concept. But so long as you have the basic idea -- and Kieron Gillen does do a good job of reminding you of them throughout -- here's the reading list for the Sins of Sinister story:
Immortal X-Men #9
Immortal X-Men #10
Sins of Sinister #1
Storm & the Brotherhood of Mutants #1
Nightcrawlers #1
Immoral X-Men #1
Nightcrawlers #2
Immoral X-Men #2
Storm & the Brotherhood of Mutants #2
Immoral X-Men #3
Storm & the Brotherhood of Mutants #3
Nightcrawlers #3
Sins of Sinister: Dominion #1
I posted it before. But Sins of Sinister reminds me of a KMC amalgam battlezone. On crack. So good...

Thanks. Lots of rain in the forecast for this weekend. I’ll know what I’ll be reading.

I was under the impression those dreams are his way of knowing someone is messing with reality. He’s not a reality warper and knows something is wrong and those dreams are his way of making sense of it all.
