The point I'm making is that Marvel stand head and shoulders above DC in terms of power, no matter how you twist it.
Even if we want to sink down to MrMind's level and conflate feats and statement and cherry-pick all we have to do is bring up the aforementioned description of Kubik and the Celestials as having different levels of transfinite power and we're done. Not even the World's Funnest feat warrants that level of power.
The difference is that I'm not here to exaggerate the capabilities of Marvel characters (whether we're talking about heroes or cosmic beings).
As far as the top tiers of Marvel and DC underperforming, I think the issue is that a lot of people have developed unreasonable expectations of them due to all the power-wankery that's been going on.

Where are the feats you're suggesting that shows marvel abstracts are so much more powerful? I'm still waiting.

Hal only needed the power and knowledge of Guardians to recreate the universe.
If Hal could do it without destroying the universe then why even destroy the universe in the first place?

This isn't really true either. He absorbed the powers of the Anti-Monitor that he found in time, and he then used it travel to the end of time and send the Entropy at the end of the Universe back in time so he could free up the plasma energy needed to create one universe (or more). If Hal could do it without destroying the universe then why even destroy the universe in the first place?

Nonsense, he just used the chronal energy to Wipeout the time stream. It was never used to free some energy.

Because he wanted to remake it in his own image.

There's never even an allusion to Hal absorbing any energy or plasma from the destruction of the universe.

Isn't the plasma energy created by Hal, not a result from he destroying universe?
