Lot of debate for a comic series that hasn't even been released yet.
But speculation isn't exactly surprising or at all disingenuous.
What I am surprised about is that there isn't more speculation about how Mark Waid will interpret the Great Darkness. Because from the preview posted so far... the Great Darkness isn't mentioned at all? Neither is the Presence?
Which I guess could make sense given this chronology is being presented from Barry Allen's perspective... so maybe his perspective of the Great Darkness (and almost every DC character's) will only begin once he gets to Crisis on Infinite Earths and American Gothic?
Would be dumb to wait until Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths to discuss the entity that literally predated everything.
Which makes it all the more jarring that he starts with the Source and Perpetua.

She was artificially powered up since she wasn't at full power and then her power was rerouted to Darkest Knight. In her original form she's never stated to be finite.

No, but it can be reasonably inferred from when she regained most of her power before the fight.Justice League (2018-) #35
