Nothing was said about him breaking out himself or it wearing off. Who knows.

What we do know is that he is frozen in time, slowly falling (so we can roughly say how fast he is). It's shows how slow he is. A speedster would statue him, and you don't even need a hardcore speedster lol.

Yeah it looks crazy. Could be nothing though.

He was moving. It just seems like the attack levitated him. He was stuck in the air.

Yup, he was moving. Slooooowly, because he was slowed to 1/50th his normal speed.

And his normal speed ain't all that. 1/50th of, say, Superman's speed would still be insane, lol.

We don't know if he was moving slowly at all since the next panel, we literally see him in a different position and his face looking different as well. Thats just one panel. What we do know is, it had him stuck in the air. Also, lol, Superman has worse showings.

Superman has worse showings than getting statues by time warps which slow you down by 1/50? Scans?

History of DC confirms what many of us have been saying. It's all canon - Pre Crisis, Post Crisis, Rebirth etc etc.

Everything counts.

Yea, the timeline in the last part including Action Comics 1(where Krypton explodes), DC Special Series, Super Friends, DC Comics Presents etc(pre-crisis), and recent like Doomsday Clock or Stargirl The Last Children etc

Superman ups his speed against Doomsday...

He was moving so fast that Lois was able to keep up with them...

Reminds me of this, tbh:

40x human speed is enough to statue Hulk. Which links nicely to the latest showing where it implies 50x is enough to statue Hulk.

Hulk has grabbed Spiderman on multiple occasions. Even during blitz. I cant remember what happened in this fight but I think the same thing happened. I'm done talking about this because youre obviously baiting.

Baiting would be asking where you are in the Hulk thread:

this has been the case since the end of death metal

only marvel zombies like odg and astner would disagree

Not that it's overly important here, but in this particular scene, wasn't Superman just standing there, HV'ing DD from a fixed point?

If so, any regular 'ol human being could have seen Superman in that moment. /shrug

Carver is fast enough to dodge Kingpin for 3 minutes. He's beyond superhuman.

carver's on one lately. facepalm

That entire instance, most of the fight was seen at that time. And no, attacking someone with heat vision can happen at super speed.

Waid hasn't even broached Crisis on Infinite Earths yet. Waid started with the beginning of the universe and chronicled stuff up to just past WW2 era in issue #1.

Which includes the new Captain Marvel origin by using Mamaragan instead of the old wizard, Shazam.

Which includes the whole Byrne-era "Hippolyta as WW2 Wonder Woman" history.

Conspicuously, there is no mention of WW2-era pre-Crisis Superman at all.

Even in the timeline at the back, it's insinuating that Krypton exploded after J'onn J'onzz appears on Earth.

This timeline so far just looks like post-Flashpoint history with some Dark Crisis snippets like Perpetua, and Doomsday Clock stuff like The Supermen Project, retrofitted in.

Carvers are not human, period.

And I'm sure Fisk would gladly murder all of them for free - including Luke Cage, Riri Williams and T'Charlie.

Except the citations the timeline made are pre-crisis comics? Including the instances you mentioned, which are MMH's appearance on Earth and Krypton explodes
They are both specifically attributed to
1)Detective Comics 225(1955, https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/Detective_Comics_Vol_1_225)
2) Action Comics 1(1938)

I loved Logan's jaw hanging off and him screaming at Spidey. True berserker there. Spidey needs to go away now and come back with Parker tech to fight Logan.
I know Spidey is strong but Logan's jaw being dislocated seems off to me. Yes, the notion of his skeleton being completely inseparable has irrevocably eroded but it should not be this easy to do. Like, you should need surgical precision or something.
