I personally a bit annoyed by the fact it seems to imply TT doesn't know WF in JLU(as WF made a self-introduction), but in Superman it confirms that TT indeed knows WF
It seems a bit lack of communication between the creative team

Edit:
Though a bit stretch explanation is it could be that TT knows the name of World Forger, but never actually meets him in person

Yeah, could be that Doom-Trapper's heard the name/title, but never actually seen WF in person. That would make sense, actually.

But not knowing what's up with Hypertime seems odd to me, given that WF is: a.) among DC's elite/upper-echelon [6D] entities, and b.) created the concept of Hypertime... Twice. He should be telling Doom-Trapper what the cosmological issue is, not the other way around.

It's a stupid nitpick, but still...

Godzilla treated Fin Fang Foom and the New Avengers (shit roster) like complete nobodies.

I definitely was not expecting Shade to enter the chat.

I was kind of surprised that Hal(without his power ring....so a supposed normal human) actually has a nanosecond time description
Before a nanosecond of his ring explosion, Hal turns and lifts one of Evil Star's lackeys

Could be hyperbole, but I'd chalk it up to when even humam level characters do insane feats. But usually not from people like Hal without his PR.

I think either you take face value for how fast Hal is(even without power ring)
Or you can argue sometimes statements(even made by objective narration) aren't immune to hyperboles

Point being

You're right, Surfer was hallucinating and said he moves in a nanosecond. Daredevil also said he moves in a nanosecond in similar situation. Ergo Daredevil is as fast as Surfer.

Some "nanosecond statements".

All are as fast as Surfer objectively.

Even Cyclops has nanosecond statements -- and his are not randomly said but by the narration itself:

Imagine relying on statements.

😂

Does anyone here follow the Star wars High Republic comics? I'm up to date with most of the novels, but it seems like you're missing quite a bit if you don't keep up with the comics as well since it's a big multimedia project.

Are there any good starting points or particular comics I should read? I just checked out the supposed reading order and its overwhelming. 😖

I read the tpb's for the first phase main series. It was a good story but I never followed up with the other phases, so I'm not sure how it is now.

i've read the main marvel series of all 3 phases so far and a few of the minis in each phase and they have all been really good. but i have no idea how they tie into the books, so i'd recommend just reading them in order? i haven't read any of the dark horse stuff though, so i don't know what's happening over there.

I agree with this showing...

For those who don't know, Metal Sonic was created to be faster than Sonic, and was able to match Shadow. But....Batman. Lmao.

Dr Eggman needs no introduction. Superman casually takes him apart.

Omega Red, skeleton still intact:

Batman wouldnt have done that against Sonic. Also, Eggman sucks.

Might want to read up on what Metal Sonic can do, then. And Dr Eggman fights Sonic all the time.

But isn't it hilarious how Batman, a human, can so easily take out one of Sonic's most powerful foes? And the best rebuttal we have is 'well, it won't happen to other characters!!.

Batman is truly a best, in DC or other realities.

Regardless of this crossover itself being canon or not, is this a new canon since a new company is doing the comics taking over from Archie? I remember looking at feats for Archie Sonic and being surprised. If it's a new canon, what are his feats now?

It's IDW, not Archie so I guess it would be a different version

That's why Batman is the GOAT of street levelers. Don't want to hear that Daredevil or even Cap are on the same level. He's surpassed them.

He didn't fight like this against Batman. At all. Also, Batman, Wolverine, Captain America and Spiderman are the exception to the rule.
