Constantine and Lucifer have apparently never met in current canon:

Which means this new continuity is indeed separate from previous/Carey continuity. I wasn't really sure because they introduced the 'Lucifer avatars' concept a few issues ago. So yeah...

Hmm...I think the writer just doesn't know the history well, he does recognize the previous runs as canon

Writer said: "The truth is, we wanted to delve into new territory and leave the prior run to stand, as it does with aplomb. All of that stuff happened, but this stuff happened too. Glad you're enjoying the book!"

Off Topic:
he explained different iterations of Lucifer we see like the one from New 52 as fractal figures

and that's a concept being used in Sandman

that's why we see Lucifer view different versions of himself

This is the only thing that that Manhattan affected. He didn’t merge any timelines. None of the stuff that he “did” is canon. It’s all gone.

I mean you can believe anything you want,
you can believe there are unicorns in the sky farting rainbow and condoms
you can believe you are actually a alpha successful man who come here only to educate the ignorant
you can believe carver gets laid with 10s every single night
you can believe doctor manhattan didn't do anything, none of DC is canon

Did Manhattan destroy everything in the Omniverse?
He reset the Metaverse, and allowed continuity to [re]form around Superman from the ground up.

And for anyone interested in Star Wars... The Rise of Kylo Ren #1 was good shit. I like where the series is heading. 👆

AND he needed all those heroes to hold him still.

My only wish/nitpick is that they be more clear with how long she's been doing it. Reed says they've "been in two months of constant war", but I wonder does he mean on that planet or since they arrived in the Negative Zone. Even still: a hour? A day? A week? It can only be impressive or more impressive.

I believe you're wrong and that anybody on here can become successful

"No matter how many times Superman's existence is attacked, he will endure. Even if change is a constant".

So does that mean Superman is effectively un-killable, no matter how powerful the threat is that he's up against?

Guys, I have already asked you to stop derailing this thread with the bickering. Take it to PMs if you feel the need to continue, but this is not the place. Please and thank you.

It implies that the concept of Superman will always endure on *some* level, yeah.

He is a metaversal constant... Quite literally the thread from which the entire multiverse is spun and revolves around. As mentioned, we've known that now for years(both Alex Luthor and Mxy stated such), but this just gave us a more in-depth look at the 'process'.

Nah, it means there'll always be a DC universe where the concept of Superman is always present.

Even if it's a universe where he's killed as a baby, that universe will be defined by the fact that Supes was there /not there.

Ah ok. That's a little more realistic I guess. 😛

One last question-

Does this page imply that the multiverse never stopped being infinite and there are now transinfinite universes within it?-

"Every time there is a change in the metaverse, the multiverse GROWS to preserve every era of Superman. More are created over the years, including one because of my interference."

Yeah, Seems like that. I mean when created pre-crisis multiverse in order to preserve Superman timeline it already has infinite number of universes. And later, There are like COIE, Zero Hour, Infinite Crisis, Flashpoint, Rebirth. Which every single change the DC multiverse grows larger than before

We know it’s infinite because of the dark universe and hypertime
But that specific quote was in regards to the different eras of Superman (golden, silver age..etc). The new DCu 52 that was created because of what DrManhattan did

That was ****ing awesome.

Here’s a question to you guys.

Do you guys think Moore is at home saying **** you to DC for ruining his original ideas concerning Watchmen?

You know for a fact Moore created that series to be a stand alone, and no way be connected to other comics, let alone the Meta verse.
