nah, JOJO is def better quality out of all the popular ones
Jojo is better than any of the ones mentioned so far yeah, but I'm saying that the bar is set pretty low by the others. Naruto and Bleach are ballsack, Dragon Ball is inconsistent, and One Piece fell off after the Marineford arc.

JoJo is indeed the best of these due to not having the lows the others have and having highs easily better or comparable to them yeah. I like JoJo (part 2 best) a lot, was just noting that the series it's being compared to are frankly nothing special except maybe Dragon Ball.

I'd say DB was pretty consistently awesome all the way up to the Buu Saga. That's where the inconsistency started.

Yu Yu Hakoshu and HunterXHunter are still some of the best mangas out there.

Throw in Rurouni Kenshin as well.

One of the best manga out there with no happy ending, was Basilisk. That shit was DevilMan level dark.

What's the general consensus on ROTJ Luke Vs Vader in the new Canon? Did Luke genuinly take the win, or was Vader compromised?

Canon has Luke's power and lightsaber skill equal to Vader's as of RotJ.

Granted, they weren't necessarily trying to kill each other(Luke was trying to turn Vader to the light, and Vader was trying to turn Luke to the dark), but the intent does seem to be that they were still equals overall... With Luke obviously gaining the advantage when he briefly raged-out.

Aside from that, I can't think of a canon quote off-hand implying that Vader was compromised. It's certainly possible, though.

marathoned darth vader v2. really liked it also👆

like you said the art wasnt as good as v1, but it really opened up a doorway for what is possible with the force (you're right lord mommin was stupidly OP lol)

i do wish they would have translated pages like this tho -

feel like there was probably some important shit there that was missed in that image. 😬

Probably saying they sucked. Naruto was good till the end of Nagato/Pain arc. After that, it just became repetitive, they’re were some great moments here and there-Killer Bee- with his rap, but overall the execution was handled pretty badly. Especially the whole Itachi level bullshit wanked.

Bleach was also good, but after Soul Society arc, it became another bad written shonen, with a few nice moments thrown in there. 2 of the best fights were Ichigo vs Grimjow, and Ulquiora.

One both series had in comment, where the misused of their secondary characters. Naruto’s potential of having good secondary characters is as bad as Dragonball’s secondary throw away a cast not named Goku/Vegeta.

I liked Shippuuden until they shit on Madara and replaced him as the main bad guy. Immediately dropped the show, haven't finished it till today.

At a certain point the show was infested with filler, not even interesting ones or at least having kick ass fights, just annoying.

But aside from filler and certain plotholes I really enjoyed Naruto Shippuuden. The show had plenty of good characters for me: Shikamaru, Kakuzu, The Sound Four, Kimimaru, Madara, the list actually goes on.

Never watched Bleach though.

HxH is wonderful. It manages to subvert expectations without seeming cheap.

The Chimera Ant arc was the picture of anti-formulaic. Kept me on the "edge of my seat" all the way through.

It's an in-universe language called Aurebesh. Soule used it a lot during the series to add in little easter eggs.

You can convert it to english pretty easily with translators like this:

And when you attain my level of nerdery, that's exactly what you do:

Awesome, thank you. 👆.

Based on that, do we know how a "prime" (if such a thing exists) Luke would scale to the Emperor?

Snoke was scared of "prime" Luke.

And Luke compared Snoke's power to that of ROTJ Palpatine.

Was it up, up and away where Superman broke those star towing chains?

Up In The Sky.

Like Stilt said: the implication is that prime Luke(ST-era) > Snoke = RotJ Palpatine.

Hey, does Batman keep Venom stims in his belt?

I know Thomas does to fight the effects of aging, but this seems like something Bruce would use for emergencies. Same way he carries around Scarecrow gas.

If the plot calls for it. Most of the belt hasn't been documented.

Edit: I do remember a storyline where he became addicted to it, then got clean...so it might be a last ditch resort.

Batman: Venom, yeah.

But was it canon?

Think so. I believe its events were also referenced in Knightfall.
