Hey stilt, remember how we were discussing the JL for 2021? On Affleck coming back and getting in shape? Supposedly, he was the one that first brought up the idea to Synder. And according to Synder, the release version only used 25% of his footage before he had to leave.
If the 25% thing is true, then this will be a whole different film. Now will it be good? That’s a different beast.

What exactly did you dislike about Naruto?
There's a lot I have a problem with in Naruto, to the nonsensical power creep, to the questionable narrative decisions like making all the Uchiha have a genetic disorder that makes them turn evil, to the core three characters being useless (Sakura) or unlikable (Sasuke is a cvnt, Naruto is a whiny punk who will literally forgive the guy who murdered their former head of state and many more people besides), etc, but frankly I don't particularly want to get into it.

Jojo is better than any of the ones mentioned so far yeah, but I'm saying that the bar is set pretty low by the others. Naruto and Bleach are ballsack, Dragon Ball is inconsistent, and One Piece fell off after the Marineford arc.JoJo is indeed the best of these due to not having the lows the others have and having highs easily better or comparable to them yeah. I like JoJo (part 2 best) a lot, was just noting that the series it's being compared to are frankly nothing special except maybe Dragon Ball.
Bleach is absolutely garbage, it's the most decompressed manga I've ever read, one issue takes 20 seconds to read
I love naruto for nostalgic reason, and I don't think it fall off that hard. at least not until madara became sixth paths and naruto/sasuke became overpowered. naruto is great because of side characters and antagonists. I never cared about naruto/sasuke/kakashi, when characters like obito/madara/itachi/minato/hashirama/nagato etc are all amazing. the animation is terrible at later part of the story. so I read the manga mostly. shippuden was great during pain's saga
JOJO part 2 is my favorite too. but all parts are great, for me as far as anime
2>4>5>3>1
Dragon Ball is more like guilty pleasure for me nowadays, and I won't watch original anime since half the episode is just screaming flexing and charging up. I'd still read manga. only original db, then stops at cell saga in dbz. for me cell saga was the perfect end for dragon ball. what came after that was second rate.
and honestly I'd watch dbz abridged instead.
one piece has always been hot garbage imo, I like some parts, Doflamingo was a great character, but it's crucial flaw is that the author tried to build a world way too big with way too many people stuffed into it. which progress the plot way too slow. some people enjoy this, but for people like me who watched one piece back since early 00s, it became a waste of time.
for me top 10 animes of all time
1. Fist of the North Star
2. JOJO
3. Naruto
4. Dragon Ball
5. Ergo Proxy
6. Gundam Z
7. Wicked City
8. Neon Genesis Evangelion
9. Shigurui
10. Ninja Scroll

yeah kaguya is absolute shit character, sasuke is emo, sakura is a useless ***** with the worst personality, naruto is whiny and mary sue. talk no jutsu is such a joke
naruto is great because of side characters though, mostly amaterasu, or the previous kages, and creative battle styles
the uchida has good characters and bad, madara sasuke stories are really boring and cheesy.
but itachi/obito are deep complex characters.
the reason I love naruto is only because I started following it way way back, back in chunin exam, I'd wager if I started watching naruto in 2020, I would not have the patience to finish it
Props to Phil for sending this to me. Figured it was worth a repost here:
"Right now, the way Perpetua and the Batman Who Laughs function in the story is that the heroes learn that Crises past have contorted the timeline and the DC timeline was been twisted by these Crises; almost knotted at certain moments and caused us to forget certain stories and caused us to start over at different times, to feel twisted and separated from our own past and future. And Doctor Manhattan, in Doomsday Clock, tried to right that aspect of our timeline but, for some reason, it didn't fully take effect. And so the heroes are looking for a bigger way to unite the DCU in a single storyline that links everyone and tells the ways that we're all connected and part of one community.

The feeling that we wanted is that if you're a longtime DC fan, it rewards you for all your years of dedication from the characters and all the stories told back in the '30s to the '70s to the more recent great stories like Doomsday Clock. And if you've been reading our stories, it definitely rewards you there from all those stories you mentioned."

Interesting. Further cements the everything canon stance
