Cool issue but some continuity errors: Donald Blake was Thor, or more accurately, Thor was Donald Blake for a long-time. Post JMS, Donald Blake's consciousness was separate and existed in the Void, but it was basically like Firestorm. A floating head that was present.

This is a pretty major retcon. How did he get so powerful? Also, it seems Donald Blake is the biggest mass murderer in Marvel history. He just went on killing an infinite number of people for years.

Retcons seem all the rage, pardon the pun (hence why the argument that Odin needed to be dead for Thor to get the Odinforce didn't quite feel right).

But I'm sure we'll see Blake gaining some new powers.

If I hadn't read that interview, I would vehemently argue that he doesn't have the Odin Power. Especially after the Iron Man interaction.

This issue showed Odin doing infinitely more in a brief flashback than Thor has done in the last 9 issues. He didn't even use it against Galactus or the Black Winter.

I am really curious who the big bad is behind all of this is. Loki is the main culprit but he's good now. Karnilla, Enchantress? I don't think they have the juice. Someone is messing with destiny. I really hope it isn't future Thanos with the IG....

But used it against poor BRB and Loki....

Plus, in that Fortnite issue.
