I thought the Midgard Serpent was big enough to circle planets or some shit? Is that city-sized thing a different Serpent? A baby Serpent? A retconned serpent?

Rage..?

1) I didn’t draw the issue, why are you asking me? 😂

2) That implies the Serpent wasn’t always large enough to ensnare a world. That’s surprisingly dumb for you Galan. I can post scans if you like.

It’s a legend that goes back to the Edda. The Serpent’s size is like Thor and lighting. It’s part of what makes it unique.

They are coming for your ass, Ragey.

😂

Someone watched Aliens while writing this.

But used it against poor BRB and Loki....

Plus, in that Fortnite issue.

Edit: I think it's Mephisto.

Good guess. 👆

Others think it's Cul or Jormugand, but Jormie has just been crossed out.

I'm going with a dark horse, Seth.

Woah, I didn't know Ollie was one of his goons. Emphasis on 'was'.

If I hadn't read that interview, I would vehemently argue that he doesn't have the Odin Power. Especially after the Iron Man interaction.

This issue showed Odin doing infinitely more in a brief flashback than Thor has done in the last 9 issues. He didn't even use it against Galactus or the Black Winter.

I am really curious who the big bad is behind all of this is. Loki is the main culprit but he's good now. Karnilla, Enchantress? I don't think they have the juice. Someone is messing with destiny. I really hope it isn't future Thanos with the IG....

Because Odin created a dream realm?

I admit I wasn't paying attention much.

Where, how?

Last time I saw him was during that disappointing Revengers story arc which lasted 2 issues.

No explanation, he's just been chilling in space.

I heard someone else call him Tanaraq but where was that said? I thought it was a token Sasquatch looking creature

He has been teased for several issues but didn’t think they actually named him

It's been teased in Mighty Thor #7:

And in King Thor #4 (with Mephisto!):

Poor Ethan really can't catch a break 😂

Yep I read those issues but maybe I’m blind I still don’t see a name

You’re not the only one who called him Tanaraq so wasn’t sure if it was confirmed

Marvel Database calls him Tanaraq, too.

But we need some on-panel confirmation to be 100% sure, yes.

So Thor's greatest feat, lifting the serpent has now been officially retconned? How is he supposed to beat Superman now?

Shut up retard.

Tbf, abhi, the realm was infinite in size, and looked fully functional. Plus it didn't need Odin constantly focussing on keeping it working etc.

So impotent in your rage.

The realm was just psychic in nature though. It wasn't something tangible, it's literally called Elder Sleep FFS.

Marvel wants fans to focus on the talents of the characters like Colossus’s painting. Odin wants Thor to find newness with the hammer mjolnir that way life’s hidden talents can be found. Like if Thor uses his hammer 🔨 to walk like Dr. Blake with the cane for instance he could compete with Silver Surfer on the surfboard 🏄.

It's a no-where world underneath the World Tree. That's why the World Serpent was there and killed. It coils around the roots of the world tree.

And what do you mean it's not tangible in nature? He killed seemingly hundreds of thousands, and he crafted armor/gained power/made weapons that he used to immediately attack Loki. He literally switches employees with Thor when he goes there. He's not in a coma.

No, the Elder Sleep is where Thor goes, and the magical reality is where Donald Blake goes:

PR, why do you shit on Carver consistently but allow Abhil so much leeway? This retard would use a Jimmy Olsen dream as a valid feat if he could, but will preemptively make threads to discount feats of comics he hasn't even read.

must....defend...thor's...honor....
