Ahh, ok I get you. Yeah, it does and it just don't fit right. I mean maybe cut off that back part it'd look a bit better.

So there is some kind of a natural bond between Kylo and Rey.

I thought so since they still had the bond after Snoke died.

It was implied in the TLJ novelization that Snoke just exploited a force connection that was already present between them.

But it sounds like that connection is going to be taken to a ridiculous level in Ep.IX... Especially if you believe the leaks(and I do.)

Granted it was established in TLJ that matter can be transported through Rey and Kylo's connection --first it was just water droplets, then later they could actually touch-- but it sounds like this film is going to go absolutely bananas with that concept. Sounds like they'll be able to physically fight each other after connecting, despite being light years away, because said connection literally pulls them together. On top of that, the leaks also suggest that their battle will occur across many different worlds/landscapes -- they will *poof* from one location to another to another, etc... Force-teleportation of sorts.

I'm sensing Matrix-ish vibes.

Sounds like it's just to keep progressing/training the characters, so that when they fight for reals they'll have more experience. (Feels kinda rushed training but ok.) But then....they are still just fighting eachother, so that experience is really only gonna take them so far.

Unless it's just them fighting before they meet the ghost, possessed body, hologram whatever thing of Palps and then they go fight against him. /Shrug

So thoughts on Luke with R2 and not looking like a Force Ghost?

It's either a flashback of some sort, or the ghost effect simply hasn't been added. Because Luke is definitely dead in this.

Thank you. I'm guessing flashback as well. Perhaps he's able to bring Rey into a flashback vision... At least that's what I'm guessing since that's obviously not the same Luke we see in the original temple destruction scenes in tfa and tlj.

I can't see them releasing an pre-fx image of Luke's ghost, but who the hell knows anymore.
