Because they ripped it straight from a toy model..

It really does look like a comic book cover.

Yeah. A LOT of random there...

That was legitimately awful. And another gimmicky lightsaber? Really?

Well that was pointless....also Dark Rey? Very nice bait you got there.

Also Ares to be fair, gimmick lightsabers aren't anything new.

Hoping that's some kind of dream sequence....

Probably similar to Luke's thing on Dagobah in ESB. Cause...ya know, they haven't played back to the older movies nearly enough! Plus the scene kinda feels like it.

Great trailer. Ren is going to be awesome.

Evil C3P0. A giant fleet of Star Destroyers.

The 4chan leak might be legit...

Unfortunately. 🙁

Also I can't really get excited for the Rey/Kylo fight since....the two of them have already fought and had a winner. Sure they might be more evenly matched this go around, it'll be flashy with that weird Force....bond time-space whatever thing.

But the fight?....Like why should I really care about it? Especially if they're gonna end up fighting Palps together in the end.

No Rose Tico. No buy ticket

I was actually impressed they managed to come up with a new lightsaber.

Ive been saying that for years. As soon as she beat him in Episode 7, any big build up to their final battle falls kinda flat.

I mean...is it really new? It's just a folded double bladed saber. Which seems rather unnecessary quite honestly. That's just an extra step that isn't needed.

It's almost here. This franchise's miserable journey... nears its end.

It says a lot that this has been totally outshined by The Mandalorian trailer.

The fact that Palpatine's face on the poster was photographed from a toy confirms that Ian McDiarmid never got back into any Emperor makeup or did any sort of photo-shooting promotional material.

All we are going to hear is his voice and will most likely be played by someone else or that person is being possessed by him.

Bummer.
