But yeah the most he did in this trilogy was cause a distraction for the Resistance to escape, which is kinda annoying.

But after the feats in this I have no doubt the EU rumours of him pulling a Star Destroyer from the sky are 100% legit. Plus it seems he screwed Snoke up. Just a shame all his good stuff happens off screen.

So let's compare various characters fights against Sheev.

Yoda. A Jedi Master with over 900 years of experience.

Anakin Skywalker. The chosen one. A literal demigod.
>fails to kill Palpatine even while sacrificing himself

Rey. A scavenger. A Jedi neophyte with about a year of training.

Wasn't as terrible as I thought it was going to be, I mean it was all over the place and the fact that the people involved didn't put enough thought into the project was pretty obvious TBH but the first half of the movie had one or two good bits, I'm still going to forget this trilogy exists most likely, and create my own one in my head.

George Lucas is a genius BTW, he sells to Disney and they spend even more money just to make HIS prequels look amazing, bravo sir.

Just saw it, and honestly I don't think it was that bad. I don't like how it's pretty much just telling the same old story all over again, but that's only because of the shitshow that was TLJ. If it wasn't for that mess they wouldn't have had to bring Palpatine back. For what it was, I think they did a decent job with this movie. It is annoying that they didn't explain how
