Her name is too damn long. But I like her. She seems awesome from just the couple short interviews I've seen. And yes, it's hilarious that they thought this super cute video of her dancing would be bad for her image.
"They" in this case was like 2 people on twitter.
May I ask what about her is awesome though? I get she's likable, but that doesn't make you a good politician. What specific policies has she put forth that you find awesome?

I've only seen a couple short interviews. She seems honest, sincere and non-crazy... you know, generally level-headed (I.e. the opposite of Donald). But I don't know her positions on everything.

Either this is a troll post or you just confirmed you don't know what it means to be alt right lol. Richard Spencer is alt right. To say the man doesn't go in for identity politics is baffling.
There's nothing"alt" about white supremacy. It's been going on for quite a while.
So even if he coined the term, he's not it.

And...not a word you just typed negates the fact it is silly to claim the alt right is not about identity politics.
They are. They are about identity politics and victimhood, just like the alt left.

Minoring in economics and yet being unable to do basic math and whining whenever your bad ideas are criticized is not being level headed lol. One could perhaps argue it is indeed the opposite of being level headed.
And in case you thought she just whined over conservatives calling her out: she whined over the Washington Post calling her a liar too.
Ocasio-Cortez: People Too Concerned With Being 'Factually' Accurate. Fact Checker Smacks Her.
"If people want to really blow up one figure here or one word there, I would argue that they're missing the forest for the trees," Ocasio-Cortez said after Cooper highlighted how The Washington Post has repeatedly called out her false claims. "I think that there's a lot of people more concerned about being precisely, factually, and semantically correct than about being morally right."
^Case in point. She then tries to say she corrects her goofs( most of the time she does not)
"Every time she says something like this, she should just do a little dance afterward and no one will be able to criticize her."
Lol the best response so far.
Eh, you can write a book on Trumps inaccuracies.
I'm actually in agreement with her, that the spirit of a debate is a lot more important then the content. Essentially, I think she's trying to say a variation of "The spirit of the law is what's important. Not the letter of the law."
As regards a politicians, if one said "I want to protect gun rights. Here's some ideas on how to do it", and they said a bunch of things that aren't really viable, I'd criticize the politician, sure.. But I'd care a lot more that they seem to care about gun rights.
I'm going to go ahead and say that politicians are people who are meant to be representatives and not experts on every topic. If they have to absolutely care about everything they say then they just become marketing experts. In the other hand, if they just spout impossible stuff because they can, they are terrible.

This just doesn't mesh with the whole "facts matter" rhetoric coming from the left.
And it does not stop them from nitpicking every inaccurate thing Trump says.

I never said they need to be experts on every subject. I'm merely saying it is not at all level headed for her to say retarded things and then double down and whine about it when called out.
It's the same shit Trump does lol.

People talk about Trump derangement syndrome, but it seems there is now such a thing as Cortez Derangement Syndrome, because someone posting this as if it's some something to be insulted by is laughable and just shows them to be morons. Something about her really seems to bother some people on the right.
^ Bingo.
She's been making Trumpers froth at the mouth since running and winning. It's wonderful to watch.
That "something" is likely that she's an educated women of color.
