Remember the whole "Let Transgender People use Whatever Bathroom they Want' Argument?

Started by SquallX12 pages

I accidentally entered the female bathroom at Walmart once. Head was down cause I was looking for a number on my phone.

Funniest shit happened, there was this old Asian lady, and the second I raised my head, our eyes met in the mirror. Her gasp was so damn loud, and she turned white as a ghost. So I decided to wait outside to see if she’s okay.

She scared me half to death because I waited for a good 5 minutes for her. Thought she had a heart attack and I was the cause. She came, I asked if she were okay, she laugh about it and told me not to worry. Her old heart is still in good shape. Nice lady.

This had nothing to do with this thread, just thought I would put this here and the whole bathroom thing jogged my memory of that moment.

Did you pump her?

You're failing to address the point. What about it isn't a reality? You're worried predators will use the women's room to assualt little girls, thereby shifting the supposed threat to the men's room where there are little boys. That is you prioritizing girls over boys.

Why should we not have boys say ages 10 and younger use the women's room where they will be safer and let the adolescent and grown men and trans people use the men's room. Wouldn't that be safer for everyone?

Because public bathrooms are awkward enough, you have to piss next to people you don't even know. At least if everyone is on the same team its a bit less awkward.

You were conditioned to think that way because restrooms are currently gender segregated. Additionally, men and women are on the same the team. We always were.

I have a genuine question, why not desegregate all bathrooms?

👆 This will be the ultimate solution, but it's unfortunate people will take so long to get that. It's happening in lots of places though. I just used a public restroom alongside two women the other day. We all took a piss, washed our hands, and got on about our day. I live in Los Angeles, so unisex bathrooms, or even people just not caring which room they enter, is probably a little more common here I guess.

There's debate and varying viewpoints, but lots of evidence shows that men and women were shitting together for most of human history. This gender segregation thing is largely believed to have proliferated when women entered the workforce. People thought women needed a separate space because they were too weak handle a "real" job routine, with manly trains and restrooms and such.

tbh im against intergrated bathrooms or whatever people want to call it. I personally feel there should be a room for people born with weiners and one for people with va jay jays. My opinion is based soley on the protection of childrens physical safety and that outweighs whatever mental discomfort one might incur as a result of having to use a certain bathroom.

What you're looking for is age segregated bathrooms, which there may something to. Maybe.

We can't just separate restrooms because some perverts are perverts though. It's like making men only parks because some men kindap children.

I don't know, can I do a loud number 2 knowing the office hottie is in the next stall?

What if she starts blasting first?

I hereby decree, women must make the first bowel movement if a man is seated in the adjacent stall.

What if she enter afterwards so you only find out when you start washing your hands?

I'm working on the fines now.

If you work with hotties and you have to share a restroom just find a nearby business with nice public restrooms. My first ever job, there was a bar down the street that my friend worked at so I used that restroom, it was an absolute delight, the only thing missing from the experience was some elevator music or something.

You see if you'd just gone with your last two sentences your post wouldn't be utter dog shit. You still couldn't help yourself from once again lying and twisting my words though, oh well better luck next time.

When you're ready to have a discussion without twisting my words, let me know 👆

Now if you wanna push for more child only bathrooms or shit like that? Cool! That shit is awesome, it'd nice and would fix some stuff I'd agree. Though sometimes a kid might need a bit of help in a bathroom by an adult so what occurs then? Do we have folk guarding the bathrooms and asking the parent for ID before they go in? And wait what if it's like an uncle or something? Or a god parent? Or a grand parent? What then? I don't have these answers. Do we then let the adult take them into the adult bathroom? Or what? And who is going to specifically make sure no kid just uses the adult bathroom on his own? Some kids don't like to be thought of as kids, ya know? So I dunno, like I said I can't answer these questions.

But I do have the answer to the question of: is the logic that one group should be made more vulnerable because another group is already vulnerable f*cking stupid? Yep, it is. Is it the height of stupidity to take that and suggest I prioritize one group over the other? Indeed it is. It's not that I don't care about the boys, it's just I'm not sure how to best help them. Child only bathrooms is one route, but I already noted a potential hiccup with that and as far as I know...nobody on the left or the right is calling for child only bathrooms(why isn't the left? why haven't they? Don't they care about the children? Or is that only when it comes to guns?). Yet people ARE calling for trannies to piss and shit in the ladies room. That is specifically being called for and there is an easy solution: just don't f*cking do it lol. Just do not allow grown ass men into the ladies rooms. It's that easy to do. It's far easier than forcing every public place to install child only bathrooms and then hiring people to monitor them.

Mothers already bring their sons into the ladies restroom.

No one's going to call a mom on keeping her kid close, over some bathroom rule. Not unless her kid is, say, 21 years old.

I like the places that have family restrooms.

I remember potty-training my stepson. He was very difficult to potty-train. One of the things the parenting experts say you are NOT supposed to do is get mad/upset at your kid for making mistakes. It will make going to the bathroom stressful for them and take much longer to potty train them. Not having a bunch of people waiting in line, walking in and out of the bathroom, or creepy dudes watching your child is helpful.

Also, if your kid is still too young to potty train and they have a mustard bomb explosion to take care of, you'll need quite a bit of space and time to clean them up (it can get all over the place including up their back). It's nice to be able to set out all the stuff from your diaper bag, keep the area clean, their fingers away from "dipping."

It seems clear that, on the specific topic of protecting children from predators, there is work to be done. It also seems clear that we probably shouldn't let grown men go into the ladies room, just for starters. It seems like an easy first step.

Trans people have been using the other side's bathrooms for as long as there have been trans people. it being such a public issue now is just because some people want to signal how woke and better than other people they are.

It is such an issue now, because conservatives are trying to legislate which bathrooms transgender people can use.

Lol it's not conservatives pushing this transgender BS down the throats of the country.

There mostly weren't issues before because it was trannies that looked the part who were using these bathrooms. And if you look the part it's not gonna matter at all whether or not there is legislation. Nobody is going to be checking for dicks if you look like a woman.
