in the newest incarnation of the runaways she no longer has the witch arm for some inexplicable reason. not sure it really gave her a power boost though. i always thought it was the resurrection and the blood that upped her power level as opposed to the arm itself. anyway, she seems to be able to do everything she was able to do since her resurrection so i think lh is good. she's running low on spells in comics because of the restriction regarding repeat spells. but in the forum that wouldn't be a problem i don't think.
medusa is pretty powerful. she's flat out whipped down venom, taken spidey, put a beating on panther (a rare thing nowadays) and had some other good showings including humbling tony some and threatening to shatter emma's diamond form. i know it's just hair--and it's stupid as ****--but there has been a bit of a bump i think as the inhumans gained some prominence in marvel and her role as queen became more meaningful. at this point i think i'd take her over ben in a straight fight. /shrug
you mean like, pretty well every character in every tier has done at some point...? and medusa isn't in a tier. we're trying to determine her place. i'm fine with mm, but i think hm is better probably. though logan WOULD be about the worst possible match up for her come to think of it.

Oh, I definitely think he should be moved up. But I'm also perhaps the most biased poster when it comes to him (all other Wolverine posters are dead), so it can wait. Don't want another Captain America situation here so soon. Just glad he (and Daken) got added to the list... especially since Laura was already in it.
Medusa's hair is ridiculously powerful, as you noted. But what about her defense? She's a glass cannon. And unlike, let's say Purple Man, her powerset is not going to work against nearly any opponent.

i'll try and take a look for some durability feats for her and yes, her hair CAN shield her, and surround her. i mean, check this out:

She does, but she also has the blanket New God strength and durability, and is pretty much the OG Female Fury too. I find most New Gods to be pretty nebulous, personally when it comes to rating them.

and here are a couple more i remembered. not much, but i think you can see she's...probably not as bad as you thought. lol
she had venom until she was distracted, but the sonic booms into the body are nice. and the explosion shows some durability. she was up, though injured, the next page. /shrug
mm or hm, whichever. just wanted to show a bit of what she is capable of.

Yeah, I know this one. Still seems like a massive outlier to me - and even if we factor it in, there are characters in the mid and low meta tiers who took direct bazooka hits with no problem.
As for the Venom feat - I know only of her fight against Gargan, whose sole superpower was losing to anyone he encountered (not kidding, check out his track record while in possession of the symbiote).
