🤣

The New York Post notes that if the election is somehow still in dispute, things could get complicated: Some states could deliver two sets of electoral votes and Vice President Mike Pence, who serves as president of the Senate, could opt to throw out both sets of votes from those states. If neither candidate has 270 electoral votes, then Congress would vote for president and vice president; the House of Representatives would need a majority by 26 votes to choose a president and the Senate would need at least 51 votes to determine the VP.
In that unlikely scenario, if the Senate somehow chooses a vice president but the House doesn’t pick a president, the vice president-elect serves as president until all is resolved. If neither body of Congress can successfully vote by Inauguration Day, then the presidential line of succession takes effect and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) would serve as president until a new president is chosen.

Lets assume this was the goal. Assume Mike Pence is planning on stealing the election this way.

How likely would it be to succeed?

I mean, if all it takes is finding conflicting votes and tossing them aside, so no one gets 270, shouldn't that be easy? We're pretty good at messing up our votes.

The 2000 election in Florida was all about people screwing up their ballots, and Gore could have won otherwise.

The VP cannot just toss aside electoral votes. There's far more to it. It only comes into play if a state sends multiple slates which, frankly, I don't know how that could happen. And even then, the VP can't just toss aside the votes. He can only do so if both houses of congress decide that neither slate of electors was legally appointed. Needless to say, there is virtually no chance of this happening.

When did statements from the FEC Chairman become evidence?

You have very low barrier of entry for what constitutes evidence. Raise the bar, Trumper.

I'm pretty sure the point there was that there is no evidence of any kind of conspiracy against Trump. Even any irregularities they find aren't proven to be in favor of one candidate or the other. All I've seen so far is they want fewer votes counted... Which is fine, because we don't even know who those votes favor. Just disenfranchise the tardy americans, that's fine. 🙂

This thing is hella over. Hella. Anyone is free to go on hoping he wins until December if you want, but that's your energy wasted.

I never thought I'd call Hillary gracious, but in regards to her calling Trump at 230 AM on the night it became apparent she had lost, she beat Trump all to pieces. Real bad look from him right now.

Yup.

Conspiracy against Trump? No, not really. That's a very long "down the road" conversation. We are not ready to have that conversation, yet. Lotta things need to be proven, first, before we can decide if it was a conspiracy against Trump.

Election fraud? Yes, tons.

Election impropriety? Yes, tons.

Also, I'm definitely okay with reducing the number of people who are allowed to vote. Just so you know, I think people should have to pass 2 tests before they can vote:

1. American civics basics test. Very similar to what US Citizen candidates must take, already.
2. "Knowledge of current candidates and their records" test.

#1: 60% or better
#2: 80% or better

Then you get a voter ID. And then you can vote, electronically.

Trumpers will accept the election results that Trump lost when Trump accepts the election results that he lost.

Trump will never accept that he lost.

The test should include at least one pass/fail question about the purpose of the EC college.

😂 I'm feeling sorry for DDM here, he looked so bad... really, on all levels. Poor guy!

Outlets called Georgia for Biden and NC for Trump today. There are no more states to be called.

Furthermore, Trump has rescinded a lawsuit in Arizona essentially ceding that the state is lost. This renders all other lawsuits moot because Biden winning AZ and Nevada is enough to put him over 270. Also read that a lawsuit in Michigan got thrown out.

So even if Trump gets two miracles and flips or negates Pennsylvania and the recount gives him Georgia it wouldn’t be enough.

How can they call Georgia considering the scheduled recount hasn't happened yet?

It’s extremely unlikely the recount will matter. Recounts usually only overturn a couple hundred ballots. The 2000 recount with all the screwups and weirdness overturned about 1500, which is the most ever. With Biden leading in Georgia by around 15,000 votes, it’s probably pretty safe to call it.

Whether it changes anything isn't the point, the point is that until the recount is done. you can't officially call the state. sounds like someone is letting their bias get the better of them.

Why? I said Biden won days ago.
