Because you know, Weapon H, who in his only (top?) showing of luck and speed stacked on top of each other, was unable to block every bullet being fired at him.

Ergo, he's perfectly capable of replicating DD in a forum fight, and the two are analogous in speed.

I used DD to show that when Superman starts the match, in character, will use his speed at the start.

Bluewaterrider evidently agrees, and has posted scans inadvertently supporting me as per usual.

1. It's not being used as a negative showing for Superman's speed.

The point is that, HOWEVER fast the blow is, Superman chooses to TAKE it, not avoid, parry, or even block it. Which is habitual behavior for him in 1st encounters.

2. The blows struck are not ultra-fast. The mother and her son see the first shot quite clearly, with the mother commenting it looked as if it would cave-in a mountain, and the son commenting Superman was too stupid and slow to dodge.
The 2 nd blow, which sends Superman flying, is slow enough that the son has time enough to shout a warning to his mom and duck Superman's hurtling form.

obviously the hulk is in him somewhere--we've seen him come out, to varying degrees. we've seen several flashes in fact. but, regardless of how big your boner for all things logan-associated is, i can't simply take weapon x's word for what cho has or doesn't have when we've never SEEN him do on panel what the real hulk has done. ie wh does NOT get the real hulk's feats.

maybe you should read the rules--FEATS DON'T TRANSFER! therefore, granting wh HULK feats instead of limiting him to CHULK feats, would be ILLEGAL.

but truthfully, i'm not seeing why this is such a big deal for some people. blue's example of how superman dealt with his first encounter with dd is a great example of what i've been saying. and this is AFTER he knew dd blew the league apart. but superman STILL let him have the first strike.

maybe it's the fear of speed in matches not being used as an auto-free pass in some situations? i dunno. it's not like speed can't be or wouldn't be used. it would simply be mitigated by the way the characters most typically use it. like i said, i don't get it. /shrug

it also doesn't mean you can't PROVE that it IS in character for superman to attack someone at superspeed. good luck with that, but if you think it's in character, be my guest.

and the oddest thing of all is that the superman side seems to be saying the ONLY reason he can win this fight is BECAUSE of speed..... 😕

really? take away superman's speed and suddenly he has no powers left? lol i tried raising other points in superman's favor but apparently it's light speed or he loses. ok. 👆

So how does Weapon H use his luck powers? What feats does he have?

So far all I've seen is with his luck stacked on Logan's speed and Sabes and Warpath etc, bullets are still fast enough to hit him.

Imagine now instead of bullets, it were punches. Or HV.

At superspeed.

Again, two relatively close combatants in terms of speed, in a similar sized area as OP, could do this:

Is anyone suggesting Weapon H is close to Superman like in my gif? Even IF they are close, Ali is still literally dancing around.

So very context specific....not analogous here, as Superman isn't taking time to use glass to encase Weapon H....

Do you have speed feats for Equus to say he's slow?

Because using your logic, he's fast enough to exclaim holy crap even as Supergirl uses super speed punches....

Note how surprisingly comparable that glass-breaking scene from Equus is to the opening scene of "Doomsday Rex" ...

This is an old argument. Everybody knows comic book characters are only as effective as plot needs them to be.

Blue could post scans from Hush of Batman outmaneuvering Superman. Superman still takes him in a nano-second on the boards.

And not, the comic showing doesn't show his "character". There's ooc, there's cis, and there's pis. Knowing which is which, requires some knowledge of the characters in question, and some common sense.
