You're not getting me.
Not dropping the Franky topic, because it's actually related. How can a weaker person beat a stronger person, without PIS, using directly comparable stats? How can a slower person hit a faster person? A less durable person soak hits up better than a more durable person? If you're saying in a direct H2H physical fight between Franky and Superman, Franky won (without PIS, or weakness exploit, or context needed like he outskilled him whatever)....why can't one say Franky is faster/stronger etc?
DS and Doomsday especially, don't have the cheese feats. Hence the use of their fights. This is what I mean. The more a character is used, the more important their cheese feats are. The less they are used, the more important their fights.
Darkseid btw was dragging the Multiverse down with him, but that's by the by. That's cheesy, right?
And now this is where it's all related to the same topic:
Using my emboldened statement above, the more a character interacts with the wider universe (i.e has more appearances), the more they start to have low showings with other characters, ESPECIALLY if the characters they interact with are more popular, it are newer. So then, their feats start becoming a better reflection of their power.
Mangog will lose to Jane....doesn't mean Jane is trans, or that Mangog is merely herald. He's still the guy who jumps from the Sun to Asgard, who chews the Destroyer, who breaks Ultimate Mjolnir, who the entire armoury of Asgard is powerless against. So we shouldn't focus just on his fights. They are less important, than his feats.
Look at Cul. The Serpent. God of Fear. When he first arrived, he rivalled Odin, the entirety of Marvel Earth was scared of him and his power...hell, he destroyed Cap's shield. Now? Unnamed Dark Elves kill him.
