This is not true, people who you view as my "political opponents" have joked using race, gender and I went along, cos legit harmless joke is harmless.
Also, calling someone disabled who is legitimately disabled isn't an insult, unless you believe the word "disabled" is a negative in of itself; I don't. eg My mother is legally disabled, three major spinal surgeries, bone transplant, spinal fusion and an assortment of metal.
