Bleed is kinda dumb now try swarm of files it kills any boss easy.

Especially after the buffs to Arcane. I coop a lot, and I'm seeing Bleed weapons/Ashes of War left and right. Both from the people I'm helping and Invaders.

Blood Katanas/Uchigatanas, Reduvia Daggers, Rivers of Blood, Seppuku, Bloody Slash etc.

Cool video on late game bleed. You can essentially get your bleed procs with one-two hits on certain builds.

What ending did you go for?

Initially, I choose the Age of Stars ending. Though I save scummed to get the other two main endings to get all achievements.

Probably a stupid question, but what is that "box" to the left of the health bar? I have 4 saves and only one is at 50% progress. Did I miss something or not come to it yet?

It's for Great Runes which you get when you beat a demigod. After you get one, you have to "restore" it at a corresponding tower before they can be equipped. Once activated it you can then slot it which will have it show up in that box. But they will only provide benefits if you use a rune arc and once you die those benefits go away requiring you to use another rune arc if you want the Rune to activate one again. Personally, I rarely used them.

Thanks for the help. 👆

Beat my first playthrough without any player or NPC summons or spirit ashes. Final build with a +10 Hand of Malenia in my right hand and a +25 keen uchigatana in my left. Went Age of Stars. Next couple playthroughs or so are gonna be lazy and casual, spirit ashes and summons out the mother****er.

I think I'm nearing the end.

Just wanted to get the Drake Knight set so changed my faith build to a bleed build and decimated the fire giant and minutes later the ancient dragon so easily it was actually quite dumb. It's gonna get so nerfed in the next patch.

Bleed is meant to be strong against slow, tanky bosses. It's what it's for.

These seem appropriate.

Bleed is strong against every boss who isn't completely immune to it and also strong against players. Also, I assume the ancient dragon he was talking about was Placidusax? He's actually resistant to bleed and it still ****s him up lol.

It's going to be nerfed, or at least Rivers of Blood is lol.

I assume he meant the Lansseax clone you encounter as you arrive in Farum Azula. It wouldn't really make sense to encounter Placidusax "a few minutes" after killing the Fire Giant on your first playthrough.

Who is also "resistant" to bleed, lol.

Bleed is very powerful even against enemies that have high bleed resist.

All bosses are tanky, and bleed takes off fifth or so of the bosses max HP. It's extremely broken. Especielly when you can infuse a weapon with bleed, then use Seppuku to effectively add a bleed buff to a weapon that isn't normally buffable, making it proc bleed in two if not a single hit.

And in PvP a bleed proc instantly stuns an opponent.

I just got destroyed by Maliketh. I thought it was going to be an easy win until his health hit 50%. 🙁

Being fair, the folks wanting a big nerf were mostly a separate crowd from other players, but it is a funny seeing the shift in complaints. Folks were mad he was too hard before. Now people are mad he's too easy.

It's reminiscent of The Lost Sinner nerfs in DS2, at least from what I hear. I only played after she was patched.

I'm stuck on the Eldenbeast. I'm fighting the camera as much as the enemy.

I also wrecked Fortissax in like a minute and a half. Lol

Not surprising, given that he's weaker than the Lansseax clones.
