I will give it a try. I've been using the Magma Wyrm's sword for groups.

I started a bleed build. Using dual katanas now. But I want an early weapon I can upgrade to +9 using somber smithing stones. The only 2 weapons the come to mind are the Bloodhound's Fang, Reduvia and Moonveil. Any advice?

Depends on how you define "early." You could probably run to Altus Plateau and nab Eleonora's Poleblade pretty quickly.

I get the items for the lift early. It's part of my game prep. As well as getting somber smithing stones 1-9. I used to get the mimic early but it looks like the wrong warp was patched for PS5.

I finally beat Malenia in probably the cheapest way possible

Spoiler:
with River of Blood, Swarm of flies, Borealis' mist

I know this game has been out for almost three months and there's folk here that are on multiple playthroughs but just though I share some happy cheap ish.

👆
Swarm of flies is still pretty usable.

There is a video where it shows that before the patch it used to proc bleed after 3 hits from the bugs but now it went up to 5 so it is pretty damn good even after the Nerf.

Wish they added an arena mode for bosses...

Its kinda funny how OP magic seems at first (comet azur, meteor of astel are still awesome but other spells are pretty meh)after trying out other builds that revolve around weapon arts a mage seems kinda week compared to faith/bleed builds with weapons like Death's poker, blasphemous Blade, rivers of blood, mohgwyn's spear...

I got the Starscourge greatsword at a +9 before Margit. The game was in easy mode since.

Wow some of the dragon spells can do crazy Dmg might start a New playthrough with them being my main incantations.

A buffed dragon ice breath can easily do 8-9 K Dmg with 2 casts it costs a lot of fp but the aoe and reach on it is really good and it stacks frostbite. Also dragon rot lasts for really long.

The boss version of the 2 mentioned above is not worth it imo they Cost Way too much fp and the Dmg is not significantly better...

The advantage is that they can be cast in midair, and for a longer max duration, provided your FP pool is deep enough.

I started Journey 6 using mainly dragon ice Im not even using the incantation based talismans but it melts every boss fairly easily frostbite hits pretty often.

Takes about 4-5 of the long casts to kill a boss its nice cause the aoe is so Big that they cant really dodge it.

Killed Mohg so fast he didn't even have Time to go Nihil on me...

What are your stats for the dragon ice?

Just started a second NG+. Changed my stats to 80 arcane and went full bleed. That damage... shockyes

My int is 65, arcane and faith are also 65.

Make sure to pick up another dragon communion seal for the extra 20 percent dmg...

Changed my talismans to godfrey, magic Scorpion and flock canvas and blood lord.
For tear I use Infinite fp and magic boost.

With golden vow, flame grant me and seppuku boost 1 long cast from smarag glinstone breath can easily do 12k Dmg which is pretty damn good still prefer ancient dragon lightning strike on larger enemies...

Bleed build is still the Best get 2 of those curved swords near mount gelmir right after the scion mini boss battle those are said to be the Best for procing bleed with jump and dash attacks..

Going above level 150 is gay.

How about I play the game the way I want to play it and enjoy it?

Instead of staying at lvl 150 because that is the "meta" just because few people says so...and I honestly cant give a phuck about it...

No, play the game the way I tell you to.

You foul turnished. uhuh

I will give that a try. I have those 2 curved swords as occult and infused with seppuku. They melt enemies.
