Fire-fighter stops potential shooter at Springfield, MO Walmart:

We don't know what this guy would have done had the manager not pulled the alarm, he may have unloaded on a bunch of people, he may have been a lefty commie hippy doing a YouTube vid on how long it takes him to get stopped. Ultimately nobody died and this guy can explain his actions or talk to somebody and get the help he needs, that should be a win for everyone.

@surt Is it illegal to carry "x" amount of ammo in his state? Is it illegal to wear body armor?

IMO, he was fishing for a reaction and nothing else, as he had plenty of time to shoot his weapon had he wanted, he's a moron and lucky he didn't get shot.

Maybe he was fishing for a reaction, after all...we had another leftist piece of shit go into a walmart and ask for a gun that could kill 200 people. To "prove a point".

I don't know what "der Leftist!" you're referring too, but it's obvious you just want to be openly hostile right now for whatever reason. Enjoy the rest of your Friday and have a good weekend.

Yeah it does have an inkling of that to it, the series of events doesn't seem to play out like he's genuine, can't think of any mass shootings where the perp has acted in this way (could be wrong). It almost sounds like something from an Arnie movie.

I legit told you who I mean.

Might be he was looking for 15mins of fame, might be he was hoping he would have been shot and survived and then had a potential lawsuit in his hands, might be he was another shooter and had last minute second thoughts; so he bailed. He certainly had time to shoot though.

Turns out I was right.

So it was the Jews all along?

You're thinking of Jesus.

The confusion is understandable. I **** hookers too.

This happened about 15 minutes from where I live, I'm betting this guy was just trying to prove a point as jaden said with an audit of the 2nd amendment.

This guy literally might have been left alone if he hadn't also armored up, this area has lots of folks with guns but not many see folks with guns in body armor.

He was also charged with "inciting terror" or something along those lines.

Dmitriy N. Andreychenko, 20, of Springfield was charged Friday with making a terrorist threat in the second-degree. That's a felony punishable by up to four years in prison. He is being held in the Greene County Jail.

Andreychenko allegedly said he was testing whether Walmart "honored the Second Amendment."

If the gun and ammo were fully legal to carry as he did(?), it seems he's being dinged for wearing body armor or body armor in conjunction with a weapon.

That makes no sense, unless there's some body armor law in MO?

There aren't any laws that I am aware of outlawing body armor, I know it is legal to open carry in MO.

They are looking to prosecute this guy for "making a terrorist threat in the second-degree."

He filmed himself just walking around with a cart, so unless Walmart's cameras can show he acted in a threatening fashion, his lawyer will likely tear this apart on a 'this man was simply excising his 2nd Amendment rights' stance.

He's getting exactly what he wanted.

Yup. I'd like to see his video but I'm certainly not going to be doing any searches for it.

Ok.

But from an outsider's POV...If I brought a fishing rod to a lake, what would you assume?

If I brought a surf board to the beach...what would you assume?

If you brought a fishing rod to a lake and proceeded to push a go kart around while simultaneously managing to keep a camera on yourself providing a running commentary on the go kart pushing activity you're doing with one hand while operating your media creation tool with your other hand, it would be pretty darn obvious you were there to film a viral video and the fishing rod / surfboard / hamburger / fish tank / etc / was a prop.
