When will Trump and Trumpers admit we have a White Nationalist/Supremaict problem?

A 23-year-old man who assaulted a police officer during the January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol was later paid by the Virginia Republican Party to campaign for now-Governor Glenn Youngkin.

Joseph Brody was arrested by federal authorities last month near his home in northern Virginia for his role in the insurrection. He is charged with multiple felonies, including assaulting, resisting, or impeding law enforcement officers.

According to an FBI affidavit, Brody attended the riot as part of a contingent of young men affiliated with the "America First" white nationalist movement. Brody pushed a metal barricade into a police officer, knocking him over.

Brody also entered Pelosi's office, and took photos of documents on desks of senators.

Oz Holds Fundraiser in Front of Hitler's Car

Mehmet Oz spoke at a private fundraiser in Santa Ana Thursday in front of Adolf Hitler's car. The Republican Pennsylvania Senate nominee attended a $5,000 per plate event, and was welcomed alongside Republican Senator Rick Scott and Nevada GOP Senate nominee Adam Laxalt.

The event was organized by Palmer Luckey, the billionaire brother-in-law of Republican Representative Matt Gaetz. Luckey is a Trump supporter, and in 2017, he was photographed with Steve Bannon and white supremacist Chuck C. Johnson, with the trio flashing white power signs.

Hand signs?

Republicans Defend Blackface Candidate

Republicans are defending Mary Ann Mendoza, an Arizona House candidate from Mesa, after photos of her in blackface and brownface surfaced on social media.

Mendoza was one of former Donald Trump's "Angel Moms." She started speaking out about illegal immigration after her son, Mesa Police Sargeant Brandon Mendoza, was killed in a head-on crash with an undocumented immigrant in 2014.

Some of the photos of Mendoza appeared on her deceased son's Facebook page.

In posts dated October 2011, she is in blackface while wearing an Aunt Jemima costume, and she is in brownface in a Native American costume in posts from a 2012 Halloween party.

"I think when people dress in Halloween costumes, whether it's Pocahontas or Aunt Jemima, or whoever, it does harken back to mocking and denigrating black identity," said Arizona State University Professor Ayanna Thompson, who wrote a book titled Blackface.

Thompson explained why a community can see a politician in blackface as particularly offensive. Thompson said, "It seems like a willful disregard for people that she would be representing."

Mendoza, who is running in Legislative District 9 covering West Mesa and part of Tempe, has not made any public statements about the photos since they surfaced on social media, nor did she return calls or texts seeking comment.

However, some political allies are coming to Mendoza's defense.

Republican Representative Debbie Lesko is defending her continued endorsement of Mendoza, "Instead of focusing on old Halloween photos posted by liberal opponents right before an election, voters care about a secure border and common sense policies that will keep Arizona strong. That is what voters will get with Mary Ann Mendoza."

"Her heart is pure and she deserves our full support," said Kathleen Winn, a friend of Mendoza's and former congressional candidate. "Whatever make-up she wore is no worse than drag queen's."

The two Democrats competing for LD9 seats in the Arizona House said Mendoza has a history of bigotry.

"There were the anti-semitic remarks, you know, a couple of years ago, that got her banned from Twitter and kicked out of the Republican National Convention," said candidate Seth Blattman. "This is racism. This is hate."

Blattman and Austin said the blackface pictures should disqualify Mendoza as a candidate for elected office.

"This is something that spreads a very dangerous ideology," said candidate Lorena Austin, explaining the potential impact on "a community that for so long, has been trying to, you know, advocate for themselves and looking for leaders that will also represent them."

This can probably go here.

While the attacker is most likely some unhinged Trumper (I know, redundant), not sure this one was White Nationalist/Supremacist related. We'll see.

How did he get in? Don't they live in a walled mansion? Security fittng of major political figures?

I mean, do they leave the gate open?

The man who attacked House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's husband early Friday posted memes and conspiracy theories on Facebook about COVID vaccines, the 2020 election, and the January 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol. An acquaintance said that he seemed "out of touch with reality."

Last year, David DePape posted links on his Facebook page to multiple videos produced by My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell falsely alleging that the 2020 election was stolen. Other posts included transphobic images, and linked to websites claiming COVID vaccines were deadly.

"The death rates being promoted are what ever 'THEY' want to be promoted as the death rate," one post read. DePape also posted links to YouTube videos with titles like "Democrat FARCE Commission to Investigate January 6th Capitol Riot COLLAPSES in Congress!!!"

On a WordPress blog, Depape ranted about censorship by the "elites" and "ruling class." He also appears to have a website that reads "da Jews." Sixteen hours ago, he posted the headline, "Why Colleges are becoming Cults."

In another post, he wrote, "The more Ukrainians die NEEDLESSLY the cheaper the land will be for Jews to buy up." His website has posts on pedophiles, aliens, COVID, Communism, what he called "climate hysteria," and more.

Some of his posts referred to Donald Trump. "Either Q is Trump himself or Q is the deepstate moles within Trumps inner circle. So Q/Trump sabotaged their child trafficking operations. #2 self inflicted wound. Trumps covert id or a Deep state mole? Was Q refering to this? Did Q do this?" he wrote, referring to QAnon.

In a September 27th post, he said any journalists who denied Trump's false claims of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election "should be dragged straight out into the street and shot."

Ah, a Qanon nutter, zero surprise there.

Not every Trumper is a Qanon acolyte, but every Qanon acolyte is a Trumper.

The thick irony. "Every leftist treats all rightists as if they're the same!"

And the killer either was self-identified Antifa or he wasn't. It's not a matter of argument. Preemptively calling me (or Rob?) a hypocrite does nothing to back up your point. Just more petty trolling.

And, again, you're not persecuted for your politics (lol), you're just reliably wrong. I think my last interaction with Adam was me disagreeing and asking him for a cite.

In this case, your own cite (wiki) undermines your conclusion. See quote above.

Rob treats every right winger as if they're absolutely the same.

As does Adam. As does Whirly.

That isn't a troll, it is the truth.

I mean, are you, personally, ok with someone voting Trump? Because your buddy Stilt openly attacked me for it when I wasn't even talking politics.

Do you, personally, think the Right is evil? That it's ok to condemn the Right in its entity?

If the answer is yes, then you're biased. There is nothing wrong with being a conservative, and nothing wrong in backing Trump.

If you're going to nitpick me you have a moral obligation to also give me the benefit of the doubt.

I'm assuming you don't have an adversarial position against myself on a personal level, or against Republicans, or against Maga, and your sole concern in accuracy. Because yiurw argument is about accuracy.

If we are enemies you need to tell me this. If we can't have cordial relations, you need to tell me outright, I an incapable of judging nuances for myself.

Robs words.

This is painting all Conservatives with a broad brush. Rob's language makes no distinctions no offers no nuance, it is a smear on the Right.

Yet my single example, you immediately pounce on. You happily show how I'm "wrong".

Smurph, I think you may be biased against the Right. And I think you're biased against me in a general sense, I've been looking at every post you say towards me and they're overly critical and harsh.

So you don't like be then. I would have preferred we be friends, but that's your choice. I can not do anything about other people's perceptions of me.

So all conservatives are white nationalists/supremacists according to you now.

Don't mind me Jadan, the truth is Dark, Stilt, MrMind and a few others keep publicly telling everyone I'm still on their shit list and every little thing not gets me going.

You tell yourself not to let it bother you, but being a pariah does wear on you eventually. Even if it's deserved.

I'll take a break and hopefully even out.

Well personally I can't really label myself left or right, as I'm left on some issues and right on others.

But as a neutral observer I do find Rightists tend to lack a heart. And if they're not racist, they'll make a million excuses for other rightists who make racist comments. And also make excuses for white crime, but go hard on black crime.

Like Steven Crowder and Candace Owens claiming George Floyd's death had nothing to do with him being choked.

Or pretty much every Trumper claiming he's not racist, despite him telling Ilhan Omar to go back to her own country.

In terms of lacking heart, being against medicare for all (for example) has nothing to do with fiscal responsibility. It's just outright heartless.
