Answer this. The powerless Supergirl you just mentioned, if she was thrown into a red sun or earth core, would she have survived? Simple question. Would a Supergirl drained completely of her power survive inside of a red sun or earth core?

You missed the point of his post, which is that Kara, though replenishing her power, was not amped upon emerging. Which is to say that a standard (less than standard at first) Kara could withstand the heat and pressure of the Earth's core and then return unscathed. Because she is durable enough to do so at base.
