Bill Nye. lmaoYeah, there's a damn good reason people don't take clowns like him seriously. He goes around calling himself "the science guy" (even though he's not an actual scientist) while saying shit like "gender is a spectrum" lol. Yep, that's sooo "scientific." 🙄
Stephen Hawking was just a God-hating a-hole. He is now at this very moment reaping the "rewards" of his unbelief and lies just as little Charlie Darwin has been for a long time now.😉
Perfect example.
Tell me, Silent Master, how you would go about changing the mind of someone like eThneoLgrRnae.

Aww...you upset because I talked bad about your lying idols Nye and Hawkins? Cry me a river, dude.
And you're the perfect example of someone who denies the mountains of actual evidence that unequivocally refutes darwinian evolution and the big bang theory because if you accepted it then you might have to acknowledge that there is an actual creator which might make you re-evaluate your life and how you live it.
And yes, "man-made" climate change is a friggin' joke. 😉

So you're just going to resort to being deliberately obtuse now?
You can't really quantify the amount of people that are ignoring both groups, you can however quantify the amount of public hate they received. At least to some extent
Of the two groups people like Greta employ a more aggressive delivery and also appear to get more public backlash,

So the options currently are be a well respected professor and leading expert and researcher into climate science and deliver your results in a calm and respectful way....and get ignored.
Or be someone without that expertise but can garner public attention and be lambasted, hated and ridiculed.
It doesn't take a genius to identify a problem. Just looking at a problem and screaming "FIX IT" isn't a bold display of courage or intellect.
When every 2020 candidate except Biden and Yang has basically said "we're taking nuclear off the table," I have to wonder how serious they're being and how effective they are at proposing solutions.
Because I'll tell you what I won't accept. I won't accept hysteria about the world ending in 10-12 years, anti-nuclear hysteria, proposals to swiftly undercut our energy sector and a lot of our economy when a decent amount of this world won't go along with this shit anyways (China doesn't give a ****, our national economic policy won't solve this crisis), proposals for a temporary climate hegemony that suspends democracy (this one is obviously pretty fringe, but I've heard it come up), proposals that blatantly try to sneak in unrelated leftist policy proposals trying to use climate change as a trojan horse (why the **** does the "Green New deal" have this weird racial wealth shit in there? Dafuq does that have to do with the climate... oh yeah, one of the people who helped make the Green New deal said it wasn't even originally about the environment, they just wanted to use that to shoehorn in their other agendas), etc.
Fundamentally it's not going to be solved by undercutting national economy's when China and India aren't going to go along with this, and neither will developing countries more concerned with getting their people out of poverty onto the level of the rest of the world. And it's not something I trust some weird international global climate hegemony to suspend democracy "temporarily" over.
Fundamentally it is going to have to be a technological solution. Engineering, innovations by mankind that, unlike our national policies, can actually be exported to other parts of the world. And it'd be a good idea for all the nuclear hysteria to stop as well if we're actually serious about this shit.
Bill Nye, ladies and gents:
I watch that and think "I don't want anyone to fight climate change, let this world end".

That video was hilarious. I've already seen it though so didn't bother watching it this time.

Why bother? They've been ignored for decades.
The opposite of that seems true. Seems we have been freaking out over climate change for decades as the alarm bells keep getting tolled.
Almost no one, statistically, is an anthropomorphic climate change science denier. You can thank decades of alarm bell ringing scientists and political action groups for this.

What well-respected climate scientists that have made accurate predictions were ignored?
None that I can think of.
This one made accurate predictions in 1988 and he can clearly see him getting face time with congress in the photo:
Edit - Also, I'd like to point out that he used PERT calculation to make his predictions which is something I do all the time at work. And that's important to me for no other reason than the fact that I want validation - on my math-based approaches in the work I do - from smart people who worked for NASA. 😐
