Scott Wapner asks his guest, CEO Chamath Palihapitiya, if he thinks the large corporations should be allowed to faiil during this COVID0-19 criss. Chamath emphatically answers yes, these large corporations should be allowed to fail.
It is an interesting take on the situation. I argued against the idea that you have to save the companies from failing. Republicans argue that you have to save them so people have jobs. My counter to that is the companies assets will still exist even if they declare bankruptcy. Those massive airports, technology systems, jets, airplanes, R&D, etc. All of it still exists if the company declares bankruptcy and gets a Chapter 11 approved.

Basically, the companies that have been preparing for disasters and had proper plans in place, and are doing well during the crisis, get nothing. All the ones that were heavily debt-laden, inches away from failing financially, and had nor DR planning done for business resiliency, can get propped up. How is that capitalism? That's socialism.
