Quarantines, shelter in place, shtudowns, and lockdowns?
We saw spikes after the “rules” went in place. They can claim it worked all they want but it was a failure.
Daily death rates didn’t change until very recently, long after we would have seen any positive effects of the “rules.” Why? Population saturation. Had nothing to do with the all the rules. The disease needed to run it's course to slow down (I suggest an alternative, below).
When you have retail workers reporting record numbers of foot traffic, you can be damn sure the rules didn’t work. In fact, there’s evidence that the rules caused spikes in both COVID-19 and flu cases shortly after the rules went in place in each state. Why? Shopping panics and hysteria shortly before and after the announcements.
The only thing that would have worked is harsh Martial Law and actual home restrictions.
